I think it was Esposito and Zouks screaming at the top of their respective lungs about penises.

Man, I thought I'd give it the old college try, but I turned it off 17 minutes in. I had a bunch of albums I wanted to listen to, but still I don't think I've ever done that with one of my favorite podcasts.

"Four months? That's like 3 Judd Apatow movies!"

Really enjoyed this series, binged it all this week. Keough is fantastic and I just loved the cold, starkly lit feel of the whole thing.

Vanilla Sky was my favorite movie as a dumbass 15-year-old. Kind of cringey in retrospect but I still think it has a lot more going for it than it gets credit for. Cruise is great and really blackly funny at times. Whatever happened to Jason Lee too, I love that guy.

Oh man, I could not place him at all even though I knew I recognized him from somewhere. He's keeping it tight.

I snorted and started spontaneously pounding the arm of my couch in hilarity.

Ha I know, as soon as I saw the format last night I figured the whole commenting thing would be a write-off this weekend. Very cool that it was fixed.

Thank you for fixing the comments sections AVC.

"Coming Soon: 9 Banks!" killed me for some reason.

The new M83 is pretty weird and intentionally off-putting but I like a decent amount of it still. The female singer he recruited for a couple tracks is really great but I think my favorite right now is "Walkway Blues" which has just him singing, with roboticized effects assistance.

I spent $30 combined on lunch and dinner yesterday, when I usually try to keep that to about $10, so…a banana.

Oh I didn't mean to imply that their Podmass comments were ban-worthy at all. I did think it was a little strange how they started it off with the remark about battling fanboys every week, because it's not like people were angry with him, but whatever.

I think that poster was pretty prickly even aside from the strangely combative tone of that weekly post. They may have been banned.

Man they still know how to put together a trailer. I have officially entered hyped stage.

This is bad

Man I didn't care for the guest in the first regular episode though. That rambling story about "scoring" a Russian "ten" was kinda gross.

The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet is actually my favorite of his. It's more like Black Swan Green in that it's a straightforward narrative, which is unusual for him, but it's also very ambitious, being an historical novel about 18th century Japan. Highly recommended and one of my favorite endings ever.

Fair enough. Like I said I know absolutely nothing about stuff like meter and key.
