Nice, I've been on the fence about going but think I am gonna take the plunge.

Yeah, kinda surprised at the universally negative reaction. It's a little different but I dig it. Hurry Up is one of the most "epic" albums of all time so no use trying to top it.

Agreed, I listened to both of them a while back and it may have actually increased my enjoyment of HH.

I was only 11 or 12 when Be Here Now came out, but it ensured I would never touch cocaine in my life.

Erin Whitehead telling the story of how he almost made her cry by yelling at her for being too loud while they were recording, and him sadly saying "This is a good example of why I may be the least popular guy in comedy" is one of my favorite HH moments.

A microbrewery that also serves frozen yogurt! Imma call it…Microsoft!

Thank you. "Punchable face" is my least favorite of all internet "jokes."

I'd imagine most people don't go around punching people based on how much they like their face. That's probably how.

I listened to the first 17 episodes of Doughboys last week. I really like it, obviously, especially when I'm familiar with the chain. I live in Pittsburgh so the CA/West Coast ones may as well be international cuisine. Just finished the Fran Gillespie/Subway one and she was fucking hilarious. Loving Mitchell's…

I was glad and surprised it won anything. Pretty impressive to win for special effects on such a relatively minuscule budget.

Hell yes. Well said.

I just read A Wizard of Earthsea last month as my first Leguin. Agree on it's greatness. Also read the first sequel The Tombs of Atuan and may have liked it even better though it switches things up a good deal. I guess I should keep going through the series.

I loved Macbeth. Cotillard is fantastic in it and it looks amazing. It's my favorite Shakespeare so I was prepared to love it going in, but still.

Ha I did, it just took me forever to figure out the source. That tip of the tongue feeling.

I played the first 2 "days" of Firewatch and I really love it. Took me the whole first day to place Rich Sommer's voice. About had a panic attack when I was forced to admit that I had stolen the rambunctious teens' whiskey, thought that was going to bite me in the ass.

Yeah I've been saying that to everyone since I read it for the first time a year ago. I'm not a great reader or very intelligent and I found it a fairly easy read spare one or two sections. And loved it to bits, needless to say. One of the funniest things I've ever read, up there with Hitchhiker's Guide and Catch-22.

I'm sure you want a flood of anecdotal evidence to the contrary so I will add that I also do not and will not have kids and loved the movie.

Coincidentally, I just watched this for the very first time on Monday after I read someone compare the Helm's Deep scene from LOTR to the big battle scene in this. It was good.

Yeah! I loved that tic too.

Ha same here. 2 ladies next to me obnoxiously snickering the whole time, and as I left I overheard someone using the word "atrocious" repeatedly. I agree about its quality relative to It Follows too.
