Yeah, Lonesome Crowded West and The Moon and Antarctica will always be my favorites, but I think their recent stuff is pretty underrated. I guess some of the edge has been sanded off but I still can't think of too many other songwriters capable of gloriously insane things like "King Rat" or "The Parting of the

Oh man, I still can't believe that is real. Fuckin' Vanderwerff.

ESPECIALLY the Cola Wars

Would you ask a lion to cease its roar?

That's the bit. I guess I need to be smarter when I'm not doing a bit in order to pull it off.

Religion is responsible for all the wars in the world

See I kind of feel like it's now or never. Feverish anticipation will never be this high again, especially once they start all this "spin-off" nonsense that makes the full-fledged entries less of a novelty.

I never really felt like they were making Sansa's rape all about Theon. Seemed like they showed his face as an alternative to actually showing the rape.

Wow, I think you may have nailed it. Nice work.

The original review explicitly said that a certain scene was cut from the adaptation which was clearly present. I think there is an addendum now admitting the error but not sure.

Huh. Well I saw it in a theater and was enraptured the entire time. It is my favorite Shakespeare so I was excited going in, but still.

Good call, I feel the same way. It wouldn't make my personal top 10 or even top 20 maybe, but very surprised to see it getting no love at all. I always give it up for movies that manage to be really funny even when they're not an out and out comedy.

Yes, Macbeth was fantastic. This site's ridiculous review of it which featured D'Angelo falling asleep during multiple key scenes probably didn't help its chances.

That's not what happened

The Walk, nice. It's around the same spot on my list but I only listed 10. The walk itself was incredible of course but I also really liked the heist-style sequences to set it up. And I always give extra points to movies that have a physical effect on me.

Agreed, it wouldn't make my top 10 but I enjoyed it a lot. Bateman is really really good.

Agreed. I also wouldn't really call it a horror movie. Maybe a gothic drama. Or something else.

I'm putting mine in reply to your comment instead of Mohd's. Nice hijacking. Incomplete obviously.

Nice to see some love for Me and Earl. I wouldn't rank it that high but I thought it was far better than it had any right to be considering how rote the plot is by now. That scene with the Eno song was so good.

Thanks Morgs. I would buy your ticket.
