You were drinking beer in the store?

Don't leave this bro hangin' dawg! Know what I mean?

Get your Summit Ice apparel guys. We need a season 4.

Felt compelled to make an appearance here

This fuckin' guy wants to cut a song that is literally called "Porcelina of the Vast Oceans," and it's a 9 minute dream-pop/bone-crunching rifftastic hard rock song and this fuckin' guy wants to cut it.

About 600, really not that many by other music obsessive standards I guess. I started on July 1 so going pretty slowly. Have to fit in all the new stuff and random stuff that strikes my fancy of course, I just thought it would be a good way to familiarize myself with stuff I own but don't know too well.

If you haven't gotten to The Monitor yet you're in for a treat. I had actually always assumed that that would be their magnum opus/masterpiece they would never top, and was totally fine with that, but I think they just might have done it with TMLT.

I had a dad that fucked our family royally and then died so this song always hit pretty close to home.

Worst I ever had was Magic Hat HiCu, with hibiscus/cucumber. I had 3 bottles from a variety pack and just dumped them all halfway through the 1st. Just heinous.

New Joanna Newsom is streaming on NPR currently. Only listened once but I love it, her most accessible by far which is good for me because I am bad at listening to music. Glad I snapped up a ticket to see her in December.

Nosferatu is my shiiiit. That hop bite.

Rereading The Bone Clocks because David Mitchell's new one comes out next week and knowing him there are sure to be references to it. I like it even better than the first time, knowing in advance that it takes a hard turn into fantasy is helpful.

Booze thread

Neko Case - Prison Girls
Bright Eyes - Old Soul Song (for the New World Order)
My Chemical Romance - Give 'Em Hell, Kid
Radiohead - Exit Music (for A Film)
Arcade Fire - Half Light II (No Celebration)

Aaaahhh new David Mitchell is out next week!

Mine too! I'll be there though, nothing better to do.

It is really cool. I love all the illustrations that go with each song in the lyric booklet too.

Arcade Fire seems to have gotten through Reflektor okay

I used to turn up that acoustic outro all the way because it faded out too quickly and I wanted it to last forever.
