The drums during the second verse of "Tonight, Tonight." Chills, man.

Ha, Siamese Dream is 62 minutes long but it does feel concise next to this of course.

The solo on "Fuck You" is incredible. As a kid I didn't even know guitars could sound like that.

I hate how every discussion of this album inevitably ends with people paring it down to a single disc that they think is stronger. The entire point of the record is to be bloated, massive, and indulgent.

Oh, you changed his name to make it sound like an insult. Clever.

No.

This definitely seems worthy of news coverage and would not be better served by ignoring it.

I enjoyed it a lot but I think the 3 hour runtime may prohibit weekly listening. Julie Klausner was the other guest and she seems to be a genuine Handbookhead/Scoop Trooper which is cool.

I've never listened to Best Show before but Hayes Davenport was on last week so I listened to it. He told a great story about Hollywood Handbook ads.

For what it's worth, I was raised extremely Catholic, am now atheist (religion is responsible for all the wars in the world), and enjoy the show a lot.

But everyone enjoys a large penis!

I actually looked up who the director of this episode was halfway through, I thought it was done so well. I hadn't heard of him (Carl Franklin) but the ending with the slow zoom on Tommy just reiterated that.

Whither The Leftovers review

Haha, sports amirite? So funny.

I liked this a lot until the last 10 minutes or so when it got too schmaltzy even for me, and I have a high tolerance for schmaltz. The kids climbing the fence was sooo bad.

His sex offender database joke in the new special is fucking brilliant.

Ah, the old "wanting to be paid commensurately for being one of the top artists in her field" - "not being fun at parties" correlation.

I think my maybe my favorite moment of the whole show is when he leaves the souvenir shop, leaving the owner to listen to the Bill Gates impersonator rant incoherently about big computers and just going "Ummm…." uncomfortably.

I want to introduce people to this show by showing them the screencap for this review.
