I just recently saw a kdrama called Pasta where foie gras being served was a huge issue in an upscale restaurant. It made me feel uncomfortable watching dougie buying that much foie gras and waxing about how it's the height of class. It's always nice when other countries prove how forward they are compared to america.

I actually agree. He could DEFINITELY pull off silver fox in his sleep with those greys and his readings glasses.

are any of us surprised that mindy dyes danny's hair at night or shrinks the crotch of his pants to accentuate his balls? does he think he's really getting younger in his sleep??

only TMP could make me look forward to the way that the show actively makes fun of people not having enough money to live.

shelves in the closet? happy thought, indeed

it's funny because he has in spades what he criticizes democratic politicians for lacking: a smug sense of being right even in the face of massive opposition. maybe he should go into politics?

i always get uncomfortable when it comes to scenes set in pre-1970's southern jail cells. Bad things tended to happen to good people at night when the cops stopped being cops

because Glee

i'm mostly in agreement with other responders, but they're leaving out the stellar performance of frances conroy as myrtle snow. I think I was able to put up with the humiliating craziness that was the latter half of season 3 for myrtle snow.

It's cool; the hip is supposed to pop out.

late to the discussion but it was the probably the sweetest movie, that also dealt with abortion, that will probably ever be made. jenny slate was fantastic in it.

some people are unequivocally pro choice. not everyone has to have long debates about abortion to decide one way or the other

I am slightly ashamed at how much I would LOVE to watch the dead Mrs. Sullivan show

I agree. I'm a little surprised at how beloved it is here; granted, i laughed really hard during some parts of the episode, though i felt kind of ashamed afterwards when I thought about what it might look like if the genders were reversed. I'm getting a little tired of the "men only want sex with beautiful women, even

The whole gay men are the answer twist wasn't fantastic but it does maybe show that society has really moved toward gay acceptance in the media and in society, in general

don't know about that. i'd disguise myself as a woman just to live on that planet

i don't respect a male superhero any less for being topless. I do tend to respect female heroines a little less when they walk unnaturally just to emphasize their physique. I WOULD respect male heroes less if they were unnecessarily flexing their muscles when it gives them no advantage in or out of battle (looking at

it may be on the nose but it occasionally feels like a HUGE cop out (which must be how you know it's working). Mindy's religion has never been the reason that she got herself into trouble. Her troubles always stem from her own personal failings. It's hard to tell someone that they're being an idiot because of their

it was actually cliff who did the gendering so that was why I thought it was weird, but it still seems ridiculous to me. everyone has their own hang ups.

I normally don't mind the inconsistencies in TMP although I do think the show gets some of its biggest laughs from its running jokes. This particular joke wouldn't bug me so much if I didn't remember so clearly how excited Morgan was to see so many zeroes in his salary offer. It really felt like the practice
