Deus Ex Benjina

The sword is just so Jorah can recognize him when they meet in Oldtown. "Hey, that's Randall Tarly's sword!"
"I know Jon Snow. He knew your dad."
"OMG!"

A man initially thought Jaqen was genuinely disappointed in Arya, but Internet comments have caused a man to reconsider. Now a man thinks Jaqen knew all along what Arya would do and knows she will kill Waif as well.

You've got to hand it to him, that was a bold move. I have to applaud the handsome Lannister prince for standing up to the High Sparrow and his underhanded tactics.

Also, stuff is happening again in the Riverlands.

Three more seasons of slavery politics incoming.

I said it last week, but I think Jaime will survive until the end of the last season. Dany will want to kill him for his crimes against her father, but Tyrion will argue for his life and Jaime will end up redeeming himself by giving his life for his queen in the pivotal battle.

In all seriousness, I want to see him there in the final battles with the Baratheon armies and the war hammer. I hope they will pull him back from the abyss at some point.

Well, I honestly have no clue. The whole sparrow storyline has never really captured my fancy. I feel like it's just stalling things in King's Landing before Dany comes and fucks shit up. At any rate, I don't see the High Sparrow making it to the endgame.

Tyrion obvi gonna be one. Not sure about the other. Mr. Snow?

I actually found the Dani speech kinda flat. It was like the writers said, "We need something badass to end this episode. Hmmm…dragons again?" I mean, we all know she's taking that army to Westeros. It's not like that scene really moved the plot at all or accomplished anything that previous scenes haven't already.

"Oh, that? That's my Heartsbane. Limited production model, hand signed by Dave Mustaine."

Nah, of course not. She just pimped out Tommen to save face and keep power in her own hands.

Benjen: "Been away for a while. How are my brother, nephews, and nieces doing?"
Bran: "Uhh yeah, about that…"

Edmure. Walder Frey. Benjen. A mention of the Brotherhood Without Banners. This was like a reunion show. I half expected Gendry to row up.

I think Jorah could go to Oldtown, which could cause him to cross paths with Sam. Or maybe he will bump into Arya. Those would be my guesses. I agree that he's not just going to go off into the wilderness and find a cure on his own.

Hodor fought valiantly, Hodor fought nobly, Hodor fought honorably. And Hodor died.

Let me bore you with my predictions. Euron will be outwitted by Dany/Tyrion/Daario and will die. Dany will take his fleet. Since it probably can't come free, some minor character (maybe Daario) will die in the process.

Maybe this is too cheesy, but perhaps she will poison Jaqen and then finally beat the other girl in a stick fight before heading back to Westeros to help her family with her newfound assassin skills. I imagine her giving Jaqen's head to the many-faced god.

That seems unlikely. Where would he find such a thing?
