I think Daenerys is going to die next season. The vision in Qarth way back in S2 shows her arrive in the throne room in winter and approach the throne, but then get distracted by crying dragons and abandon the throne without ever touching it. She then travels through the Wall, where she finds Drogo and Rhaego in the…
I mostly agree, but the Winterfell scenes have still been flat. It's the Qarth of this season's storylines.
A "friend" of mine watched it.
Ned Stark dies!
I don't really buy that yet. I think they want people to believe that, but I think he'll retain some of his identity just like Arya. Also, why introduce the whole dagger/"chaos is a ladder"/"fight every battle" pissing contest unless there's a payoff? I think Bran is going to outscheme LF.
Thoros and Beric are pretty expendable IMO. Tormund could go. I think the others are a little less likely to die right now. Also, given how much they talked up Davos being a shit fighter in this episode, I have a feeling that somehow we're going to see him fight.
Not trying to harp on it too much, but the Bron/Jaime thing was pretty ridiculous too. Tyrion and Dany were literally right there watching when he got knocked off his horse. You mean to tell me they just let him wash away? Really doesn't make any sense.
I caught Joe Dempsie's name in the opening credits, so I knew it was coming. Kinda wish they hadn't put his name there. Once Davos mentioned Flea Bottom, I knew it was time.
I have to rewatch the episode, but is the whole point of the mission to prove to Cersei that wights exist? Why bother when she's a maniac with a weaker army and few supporters? Honestly doesn't make much logical sense. Neither did Jaime and Bronn escaping from the battle unnoticed. That wasn't believable at all, but I…
Ideally while wearing a Cat Stark mask for full effect.
Unless Bran is setting a trap.
The upside of table setting for 60+ hours is that it sets up some massive payoffs.
And 4 episodes from now it'll look like Bran.
Nice little bit of writing. I wasn't expecting that misdirection at all when he outed himself, but it kinda fits Gendry's character from S1-3 and definitely fits the Baratheon way.
Petyr's Zesty Lemon Tarts:
All it was missing was Jaqen H'ghar emerging from the shadows:
As much as I enjoyed that episode, how are we to believe that Jaime and Bronn magically floated away from everyone? Really stretching the willing suspension of disbelief.
Shouldn't Bran be able to see this coming a mile away? I hope he intervenes.
