The cast is so good on this show that I almost never notice any bad acting. Then I saw Shae's scene with Varys and realized that she's never quite worked for me in that role. Maybe it's the accent, but she's not quite up to the show's lofty standard.

Is it a spoiler if I say season 4 is going to be much better?

Yea, I would rather watch Viserys running around slapping hoes and making a fool of himself than be subjected to more Dany scenes. It's all quite boring to me.

Barristan Selmy takes offense at this remark.

I think they bungled the whole Stannis/Night's Watch thing. I loved the moment in the books when Stannis arrived with his army beyond The Wall because it hadn't been completely telegraphed. We knew that The Watch sent out letters and we knew that Davos presented Stannis with a letter, but it wasn't totally obvious

It was obviously the actor who plays Jaqen H'ghar.

I don't want to be one of "those guys", but…I have slowly been reading the books to catch up with the show. After this episode I read ahead and finished the second half of a Storm of Swords. I hope no one will take offense if I say season 4 is going to be fucking crazy. Keep watching. And with that I will leave the

North Korea bro.

Chekhov's Walder Frey. Piss him off in the first act and he will come back and have you murdered. Robb was never going to survive. That much I was pretty sure of. I just didn't know when/how he would go down.

Doesn't change the fact that she doesn't look the least bit threatening. It's hard to take her whole "I'm an angry badass" thing seriously when she weighs 90 pounds and has the bug eyes of an anime character.

Knowing what the role has become, I think they could have cast it better. A younger version of Osha would be

I'm not sure he'd be a horrible king. He's not a very cheery fellow, but he's competent enough. He's not mean-spirited either. He only killed Renly after the latter had taken his bannermen, stolen his claim, and mocked him to his face. Even then he gave him a chance to repent.

Melisandre basically came out and said Arya is gonna kill a whole bunch of people. So I take that as a partial yes.

Except…Bolton knows the boys are alive because his bastard tortured it out of Theon (the flayed man on the X — has to be Bolton's handiwork). Which just makes things all the more confusing.

I had a different spoiler experience.

I don't think he's a creep. He's the rightful king, but his brother Renly betrayed him and the Lannisters won't acknowledge his claim for obvious reasons. Shacking up with the fire witch was really his only viable means to achieve what he sees as justice. If there had been a cleaner way I think he would've taken it,

Littlefinger and Lysa Tully might have something to say about this butchery.

Good call. I forgot about him.

It looked pretty huge when it was getting all up in Jamie Lannister's grill. In this episode it just looked like a normal dog.

I disagree.

Edmure is basically a stooge. I think he will take his medicine and get over it.
