Good general. Terrible governor.
Good general. Terrible governor.
He was a Stark bannerman. Basically a powerful regional lord or governor subservient to the Stark family. He has been featured in all of the seasons as one of the generals/advisors close to Robb.
I get that, but why keep him around if he doesn't have a significant role to play in the future? I think he will make an impact down the road.
I think he's more powerful than Walder Frey. Walder Frey is just a lord with a bridge. Balon Greyjoy is lord of one of the seven kingdoms. I'd imagine that he has a lot more military power at his disposal.
Robb beds a woman. It costs him his head.
Stannis is my dude on this show. I know he's prickly and mean, but in reality he's a pretty virtuous guy. There's no way he will win the end game, but I would love to see him carve up the Lannisters and Freys.
The resemblance is striking.
Only two of them are dead. Grey Wind (Robb's) and Lady (Sansa's). Not sure that bodes too well for Sansa…
My only issue with Arya is that the actress is so physically small and delicate looking that I don't know if I'll ever buy her as this scalp-claiming assassin she seems destined to become. They need to pump her full of HGH or something.
Random thoughts:
Leech number one bites the dust. How long until Joffrey and Balon Greyjoy follow suit?
Rat face? I think you've confused Margaery and Talisa.
Deer antler spray, dude.
I like Stannis too. There is no way in Hell that he will survive until the endgame, but I hope he can spend a day or two on the throne. Hopefully at Joffrey's expense.
Why the eff do we have to wait two weeks for the next episode?
Her ass deserves The Iron Throne. Literally and figuratively.
Mel had to get Gendry all hot and bothered to make sure his blood was pumping that good old Baratheonestosterone. The demon seed is strong.
The Hound is a pretty cool dude. It bums me out that Arya is so intent on murdering him.
Also…really smart of Sam to leave the magical Whitewalker kryptonite dagger on the ground. Not like it could, you know, maybe be useful again in the future.
HBO trolling the world with their episode synopsis. The best part:
