I guess my question is whether or not Pete is a "bad" guy like a lot of people are saying, or whether he's just well-adapted to his environment. Pete was put in a tough situation. SCDP had made landing Jaguar a huge priority. Their chances of doing so might have been compromised if they hadn't satisfied the fat man's

Pete is slimy, but he doesn't go out of his way to make others miserable. He's simply willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Personalities like this are common in business/politics/war. Their ascent is a natural consequence of a system that rewards ruthlessness, calculation, and an utter lack of

Yea, me too. I was expecting some Rhys Ifans up in this joint.

Late 2 tha party
No one will read this, but wtf.

Good Article
Two thumbs up. I was about 9-10 years old when all of this stuff was going down and because I had an older sister who watched a lot of MTV, I became a GNR and Nirvana fan even though I didn't quite understand what any of it meant.

What I really want to know is…
…whether or not there will be three chapters about Zorianna Kit.

Plus, her elf ears were well disguised.

She got ridda them Thetans.

Great Episode
Pete is on the ascent and Roger is on the decline. Interesting that Pete's wife just gave birth whereas Roger's true love just aborted his baby and decisively rejected him. I think that pretty much tells the story of the trajectories of these two characters. I wouldn't be surprised if Pete ends up being

Gotta admit
I don't find Eddie Murphy funny. Even his vintage stuff doesn't do anything for me. I've watched 48 Hours and Trading Places within the past year or two. Barely cracked a smile. I just don't find the man amusing.

No doubt. I'm just trying to figure out where they're going with all of this.

So uh…
What's the big cliffhanger going to be at the end of this season? We're approaching the finish line and there are no major plotlines developing. No marriage collapsing. No business drama. Nada.

We know Joan's history. She was clearly a madam in Shanghai.

In. Out. Same difference.

The mouse. Yes. It causes the comment:

WONDERFUL TO WATCH!
I liked this episode.

how Don got his groove back
I don't dig Betty as a character at all. She has no connection to SCDP beyond Don and it doesn't look like they'll be getting together anytime soon. I just hope that all this "Betty is evil" stuff the writers are doing is the prelude to her exit from the show.

Yea, the old secretary was a weak gag by Mad Men standards. She must've wandered off the set of a CBS sitcom. Maybe Pete Campbell can introduce her to his rifle. We know he doesn't shoot blanks.
