Belle's shoes were pretty ridiculous. Belle has always been really far off from her Disney and story persona, which sometimes works out for OUAT but other times not so much. I would have preferred a more bookish/quirky Belle who was a crazy inventor like her father, or into adventures or pretty much anything besides

Just because some Libertarians have latched on to her doesn't mean that all Libertarians like her, or agree with her, or that Rand's views are Libertarian. They're not. Not only was Ayn not a Libertarian, she hated them and went out of her way to bash them. The fact that the two have become so entwined in the mind of

Aww, I will miss the reviews. Dishing is half the fun of watching this ridiculousness.

If there's one thing we should know by now, it's that in Storybrooke the answer to literally everything is 'because magic'. I mean when people fart there it's probably because magic.

Yeah, it's not like OUAT has so much great acting it can afford to waste it. His face when we can actually see it is pretty amazing in its crazed desperation. Since Revolution is canceled they might as well give him some guaranteed work and a storyline so he doesn't go away.

yeah, with the pacing of this show i'm not sure smaller seasons is the right fit

Yes, that would have been a narrative benefit to structuring the episode so that it ended with Claire being captured by Black Jack, there would have been some extra time for that.

Really, I love all the Highlanders.

That is crazy that it was so obviously different. I kept thinking, is it the way the camera shots were composed? I guess it must be. Maybe if I rewatch the whole thing later I'll try to see what made it feel so different. It's amazing how much the way the camera frames characters can change your perception of things.

Oh, wow. I'm not sure that bodes well for the next episode. If it is what I think it is, that could be….super not fortunate for the tone of the show.

Black Jack Helena terrifies me to even think about. Frank is going to be so disturbed when he winds up handcuffed in a shower with him.

It's not that I dislike the moment, it's that I don't want it to end there. It feels like it would be better to have Jamie show up, and then have the show keep going, than to break it off. Otherwise the surprise goes from being Jamie showing up, to the season ending right then and going to black being the surprise. It

They've changed a few things though, like not getting married in the same church, the first scene with Black Jack describing the flogging, I think this is one scene where they could have changed the details just a bit so that it was broken up better between seasons. It was just a tonally odd place to end the season on

It's weird because their makeup people are otherwise good, but I finally realized, they are good at straight up makeup and styling, not the special effects type makeup and prosthesis needed to make an actor of one gender look like someone taking hormones to transition into the other. It's a different kind of skill.

I've been going over it in my head, and I can't quite put my finger on it, but it wasn't so much what happened, but how it was filmed. It felt tonally different from the rest of the show, more like the harlequin-type romance some people feared it would be. I agree with you, I think it would have been better to have

In their defense, without zooming in on certain areas, it would be really hard to show exactly which it was and unless they changed the mechanics of the stabbing and their positions. I don't know how you could shoot a scene like that and make it clear. Oddly, it seems like the one time the voice over could have

I loved that detail. He was a bit badass right then, and Dougal had an amazing crazyface.

I loved it too! Quite a different side of Rupert. If he wasn't such a pervert, I'd find his character attractive. He has his moments, and I think the actor is cute.

If that happens it's going to be like an Orphan Black/Outlander mashup. Orphan Black Jack.

Part of me hopes every male member of the Randall family is played by Tobias even though that would be incredibly absurd for this show
