If Comic Book Resources, Newsarama, EW.com, Pajiba and a ton of other "we don't do hard news, we got jokes" sites can go out on a limb and acknowledge one of the biggest films of this or any other year will forever be tied to death and suffering, I think The A.V. Club can nut up and mention it.

Sticking your head in the sand still leaves your ass exposed to the world.  The A.V. Club is not a fortress from the nastiness of the real world.  Most of the people who patronize this site are smart enough to know this is all the sideshow, not the show itself.
