Ummm….Fleet Foxes!

I enjoyed the four ladies together. I like how complex their dynamic is, sometimes messy and shady, but to the core, it seems like they'd really have one another's back if shit really hit the fan. I think it's easy to dismiss Kelli and Tiffany as rude and annoying, but if you look and pay attention hard enough, I

this film is mostly all mood, that underlying dread that ran throughout from the sound design and the soundtrack. The cinematography was beyond great too. Yep, it's pretty much all mood…..and I was fine with that. I also liked the monologuing—it was like a long, ghastly poem. B+

This episode was excellent. That scene at the dinner table and everyone's reactions and the interactions—-something very cathartic about it all, especially with the Pfefferman children's laughter punctuating all of the emotional tension. It felt like a purging.

This episode is a horror movie..it has the beats of a great horror movie that remained tense and with unknowns throughouts—misdirection and the lights going in and out, people appearing almost out of thin air. I was tense the entire time!

I scroll down and there it is…all of the comments speculating about a film about the romance between the Obamas to be something more than what it is…I miss the days when AV club comments sections used to be almost pleasantly surprising.. Some of this stuff is on par with the worst of YouTube comments, which, I guess,

Okay, besides making some fair points that the OITNB's writing room should certainly be more diverse, you missed the season's entire point and therefore miss the overall point of this series. The writer seems to be caught up on what it looks like—the fear of what a story like this could turn into and it perhaps give

I'm shocked that you reduce Uzo Aduba's performance down to "bug-eyed scenery chewing". Maybe her moments of "craziness" are the only scenes you can remember? Either way, Uzo brings so much to that role. I don't understand how anyone who actually watches this show and pays attention to the characters can dismiss that

A great deal of people seemed to not adore the third season as much as I did. After finishing it last year, I remember reading some fan reactions, saying that it was boring and didn't have a plot.

Oh Charlotte…But on the real, can we stop pretending the the Oscars is anything but what it is, which is a ceremony of self-congratulation for no doubt mostly white artists in media. It has long since dissolved into a parody of itself and for any group to really act as though they need recognition from it (or really

It might be a tad hyperbolic but realistic as hatred and bigotry often are. Dehumanization and dismissal of someone's pain. One of the women even say to Maura: "You're pain and your privilege are different". Its easy to say that's far fetched.I'm sure people said something like that when hearing about the actions of

I find Sarah's booty call (Dr. Steve, btw) played by Jason Mantzoukas to be very sexy for some reason. He's not conventionally sexy or anything, but I find him very interesting. I don't know how to explain it. I like him. I enjoy him a lot!!!!

I don't understand how Divers by Joanna Newsom isn't on here. Nice, at having TPAB as number 1 though. Much deserved. One of the best albums I've ever heard.

Okay never mind. I found the review. Only a flaccid B?

I know you guys better be reviewing the miniseries, Stakes!!!!

I love Notaros, Cody and C.K. This should be good!!

Best episode yet of the season! I was laughing my ass off and was compelled by the complex themes of gender dramaturgy and identity.

I loved this episode I at least expected an A-.

This made me laugh more than it probably should.

Not sure how it's any different from Game of Thrones. The "ripples" or how the deaths impact the story are totally underplayed here. It seems like someone who doesn't watch Grey's Anatomy wrote this because as an avid viewer, I can tell you that every Grey's death or departure is felt present till this day in the
