I missed the original airing of this episode, and I ended up inadvertently spoiling myself on the outcome when I went looking for the full ep on Youtube. Too bad, since this was an exciting game! Bravo to Julia for nabbing the 2nd place record.

I was thinking she looked like Michelle Dockery, personally. But yeah, undercover Elizabeth Jennings works too.

Yeah, Manuel definitely made a few blunders (that Texas answer was a forehead slapper), but he was the strongest contender to go against Julia in quite some time.

Oh, for the love of—

I also guessed Pygmalion immediately and may have flexed triumphantly when it was revealed as the correct answer. I've been having bad luck with final jeopardy clues lately…

Julia finally made a proper true daily double wager! I straight up first pumped.

I remain totally conflicted about Julia. She's clearly super smart, and someone I'd probably be friends with in real life, but her games are just… not that exciting. Every day I hope for a contestant who can beat her, or at least be a worthy match for her.

I could have sworn the clue also mentioned Superman by name, but I just checked the episode out on youtube and you're right (clue comes in at about 13:20) https://www.youtube.com/wat…

I seriously wondered whether Don was having a stroke or something.

Sure, but that was literally the least exciting scenario you could choose to go for your first true daily double.

I agree, unfortunately. Julia is clearly very smart, but she hasn't really been up against any tough contenders. Except for that one guy a few games ago who should have won but made that boneheaded FJ wager.

I don't always yell "FUCK YOU!" at my TV screen, but when I do, it's because Alex Trebek made a sexist remark.

I got Boardwalk immediately, but the last time I played Monopoly I was 14 and it was a highly traumatic experience involving being shut out of acquiring any properties, so… that's my ironclad excuse for not knowing Marvin Gardens.

I said the same thing to Mr. Mofo. I was waiting for a post-commercial break correction on that one.

For real. I hate Pete as much as the next commenter, but that scene with Tammy was heartbreaking.

I had to rewind that part and watch it again.

It's okay, in another timeline the judges rule Brad incorrect for that FAFSA question in the first game, and it psyches him out so much that Ken wins the million, and he and Roger team up to ride around in a van solving mysteries.

Wait, what? I'm pretty sure his contract extends through 2016.

:( I was screaming at my TV too. I guess I'm biased because I'm recovering from a broken foot and edema is something I have to be vigilant against, but man I couldn't believe he didn't get it right.

After the Porsche story, my fiance was like "is this asshole for real?!" and proceeded to take out his phone and spend the rest of the episode trying to find out why or how he totaled it.
