Same here. But I'd enthusiastically audition for a Ken era spot as well.

I yelled "YEEESSSSS" at the screen when he made that hosting remark. I know a lot of people find Trebek somewhat off putting at times but I'm going to miss him when he retires, and having Ken take over would be the show's only hope of keeping the existing Jeopardy spirit alive.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was a little miffed at Alex's attitude about Chrissy's ring. I also wondered if the fact that it was a sapphire (and not a diamond) played into his "turning it into a positive" spiel.

I dunno, maybe none of your crowd lives in the South Bay, but I work down in SV and I know a ton of young engineers who still live in the Peninsula/South Bay. The SF scene is gaining a ton of steam but SV isn't completely dead, it's just a different subculture.

What was up with none of the contestants knowing anything about guitars?!

Yes, it's depressingly accurate. I could not stop laughing at the Hooli office set.

I started yelling "UHHHHHHHHHH" along with her whenever it was her turn to pick another clue.

It was such a pleasure to see Jennings back on TV. My fiance was a little jealous of my fangirling over him.

Jennings seems like the only logical successor. Plus it would make my nerdy little heart so happy to have him on TV every day.

Maybe he wanted to try and increase his score before landing on the DD? Either way, it was a bonehead move.

It seemed to me that once he realized he had no chance of winning, he started pouting. Great sportsmanship there.

Honestly, he struck me as much more toned-down than I remembered from his first run on Jeopardy!

I had the exact same reasoning as you. My fiance guessed Anthony, but I said "nah, that's too obvious for Battle of the Decades, maybe it's Elizabeth Cady Stanton…"

I was always partial to the 1993 masterpiece Party Mania.

Yeah, i gotta admit i downright cackled at Trebek's pissy quip about it being one of the complexities of the English language.

What was up with Alex prefacing the FJ clue with "as you can *see*, the category for today's Final Jeopardy! is 'Presidents'"? I couldn't tell whether that was a dig at Eddie, a poorly-executed joke, or an innocent oversight.

Ugh, me too!

I work in the video games industry and the show's lack of realism there is pretty appalling. Patrick is a level designer, but all we've seen him do in a work context is model and rig 3D characters. That is a COMPLETELY different skillset. Is that supposed to be what he ultimately wants to do (as foreshadowed by the…

Silky. She said it was SILKY in her mouth.

Why did you find the Lower Haight choice strange, out of curiosity? From what I've heard, they did a lot of filming for the season in the Lower Haight.
