Not sure how old your son is, but I recommended Battle Royale to my 16 year old brother, who loved it. He then ended up finding The Hunger Games very wimpy.
I used to have very long hair that I would put into a bun still wet, and then take down in the evening, when it was still damp, and braid to sleep in. It would be dry in the morning just in time to wash again.
No tips, but GOOD LUCK!!
I'm getting a haircut tonight after work! I need one pretty badly.
So many options!
@avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus You're joking, but that means a lot to me!
"M. U. Hat" obviously, but not until we're an official couple. HAHAHAHAwhathaveibecome.
I went garage sailing and found a copy of The Thorn Birds miniseries on VHS, which my male companion bought with a bunch of records for $5. So I decided it's finally time to read the book and grabbed it from the library the next day. Haven't started yet cuz I'm still working on Wizard and Glass, but I'm kind of…
I think a lot of critics don't generally have the same tastes as the general public, who therefore don't care what the critics say.
Jane Eyre is mine, believe it or not. I read it for the first time at ten years old when my mom recommended it for me at a Scholastic book fair. It was the first "long" book I read.
Same here, re: wishing I'd read the book earlier. As a little girl I LOVED unicorms to an insane extent and I loved that movie but for some reason never owned it. Now that I've read the book I think the movie is probably one of the best adaptations I've seen of anything. Still haven't read any more Beagle besides a…
I can pretty easily wrap my mind around having "house shoes" or slippers, but it's the concept of, like, walking into a house and not taking off the shoes that you were wearing outside that I really… can't understand at all.
Everything I've heard puts the end of the baby boom in 1964 and then after that no one seems to be able to agree on when anything was. I'm still not sure whether I'm a Millenial or Gen Y or if those two are actually the same thing.
I would also like to read that rant.
Shoes indoors:
Is this something people do? I've never seen anyone do it but they seem to all the time on tv so I looked it up online once and found some forum where people said it was rude to take off your shoes in someone's house?!?!(?!)
Yeah, I was strictly Mr. Dressup and Fred Penner and always found Mr. Rogers pretty boring when I was a kid. But the more I read about him as an adult, the more I think I need to watch all these youtube videos people are linking to.
Oh, boo.
So sad I forgot this was going up today and am posting so late.
I've got a copy of Germinal en francais that I'm kind of too nervous to read because of my languishing French skills.
