I'm going to pick up Locke & Key Vol 3 when I go to the comic book store for Free Comic Book Day this weekend.  VERY EXCITED.

I really love that thing that happens sometimes where you pick up an old favourite book to move it to a different place on the shelf or something and then accidentally end up reading the whole thing.

I took ten years between reading the original (from the library) and the revision (from a Christmas gift) and couldn't really pick out any differences.  I'm still sad King revised it, though.

Having been stood up a few times myself, I can agree wholeheartedly that it's awful.

You're right, online dating is extremely helpful for reducing the length of dry spells.  My longest one was basically just me proving to myself that I could find someone to date without the help of the internet.

That's actually a brilliant suggestion.  Thanks!

My boyfriend of five-ish months and I broke up at the end of February, mostly because I had constantly been working out of town for our entire relationship.  We kept talking though and now that I'm back we've been hanging out a little bit and things seem to be going really well, and hopefully will continue to do so!

"Over a month" is most definitely NOT a dry spell.

AV Club, tell me if I have a caffeine problem, because I've been wondering for a long time: I've literally been drinking coffee since I was eight years old, possibly earlier.  I have about half a cup with toast most mornings.  Maybe once every few days I'll have some other caffeinated beverage at some point during the

As far as I'm concerned, Heinz Tomato Ketchup is the only ketchup.  Never buy any other brand.  You will pay for your savings choking down terrible ketchup.

I'm a terrible critic, but I'd certainly read that.

I thought Thor was way worse, actually.

I was at a different convention type thingy this weekend.  I'm fairly new to them, so I'm still amazed by how terrible the questions at Q&As can be, and also how much people will creep on the guests.  Is this just nerd social maladjustment or something?

Rome is so so so so great.

Serious question: is paper crafting like what the dude in the Elephant Man does?  I don't think I've ever seen it before otherwise.

So many people I talk to claim that even after winning the lottery they would need to have a job "for something to do."

Conventions are awesome and I've loved the very few I've been to so far.  I highly recommend attending one if you can!

@avclub-9c33ea7188cb0fc5d524f4ad1e8d8fc5:disqus  My coworker mistook my brother for my boyfriend once, which is pretty funny considering he's 19 and I'm more than five years older than he is.  But since I think she was just desperate to see what my boyfriend looked like, she made a crazy assumption.  So far no one

I'm in the very common position of having quite a few hobbies that I don't have enough time to indulge in.  Is there some point where you have to just pick two and forget about the rest, or something?
