I'll see if @avclub-e129a878f7b0e5aa9ac09e0282f64ea6:disqus is interested in making our unproductive love match into a trio.

@avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus I think that one in particular is supposed to be a bit isolated from the rest of the series, and thus a good taste test of sorts. But I was bored in addition to not knowing what was going on. Maybe someday!
Oh my God, the veterans.
I am an extreme beginner with a general idea of how the pieces move? I've been wanting to play more chess for a while.
I watched most of Game of Thrones season 2 this weekend because I wasn't being productive, and my sister watched bits with me. She had a lot of comments about what a terrible person Theon is, but I just felt really sorry for him mostly. He's still a tool about a lot of things, though.

So I tried reading House of Chains a couple of years ago and I thought it was terrible. A lot of people seem to recommend that as an entry-point to the series.
Yeah, Goblet of Fire gets super dark at the end. I read it when I was 15 and I was pretty astonished.
@Girard I agree with you about dogs being obnoxious, but cats are most definitely assholes.
Being Canadian, "Canada goose" comes really naturally to me. It's always weird to hear/read "Canadian goose."
I think that's why I preferred the second season. A bit more substance there, even though there were also suddenly two times as many characters. (I haven't read the books and probably won't.)
I also watched Game of Thrones s2 and felt depressed about not doing anything this weekend!
@avclub-2ada31fe193c3a8c3f18a2d15c64362c:disqus Around here we have one place where you can rent private rooms. It's pretty expensive, so I've only been there once, but really the whole room just sang the entire time, except to some of the more obscure (? - is "Delilah" obscure?) songs I picked, and at the end when…
I've attempted knitting a few times but the latest one I got really tripped up with maintaining tension in the yarn while also having needles in both hands. Crocheting is way easier for me.
Plenty of Fish! I think I just had a few warning phrases or something that were considered too negative, and kept getting errors when I tried to submit the description, until I rewrote the whole thing.
Ugh, actually doing work occasionally makes it tough as well.
I would do everything in my power to be on the AV Club cruise. I don't think anyone cares who I am or wants to meet me, but it would be the best cruise.
What is the size of this party? That affects the answer a lot.
Same here at the moment.
I'm really glad that he seems to be having a late-period resurgence with stuff like [Date I Can Never Remember] and The Wind Through the Keyhole.
