The worst footnotes are the ones that are just three page long lists of of something.  I skipped those.

I'm almost 5'8" so on the tall side of average for a lady.  I'll basically consider anyone who isn't noticeably shorter than me (i.e. it would make me feel like a monster to have to bend down to kiss a guy).

I once wrote a description of myself that was TOO SELF-DEPRECATING TO PUBLISH on my online dating profile.

I once heard a bit of a Four-Seasons-that-wasn't-by-Vivaldi ballet on CBC Radio 2 that sounded amazing, but I haven't been able to find it since to verify that.

A friend of mine called it the worst of the Avengers franchise movies, but I liked Captain America A LOT.  Things like that ending definitely elevate it above Thor at the very least, as far as I'm concerned.

That was the best gay joke I've seen yet, though.

I also caught up on the last two weeks' episodes of Walking Dead this weekend.  It was great to see Michonne get some actual dialogue finally.  Geez.

Yeah, I love this movie and I feel like that is actually the one major glaring flaw.  Also the fact that the clones are all pristinely preserved.  Maybe it was a tank of formaldehyde instead of water?

I agree with this.  The cloning was obvious but the twin reveal was what shocked me.

I READ THAT BOOK.

!!

I don't remember a single thing about The Illusionist, other than (maybe?) something to do with ghosts.

"I'm inventing electricity, and you look like an asshole."

I bought The Fifty Year Sword on Saturday.  Probably won't get around to starting my reading for a while yet, but I'm very excited anyway.

I have really fond memories of watching both Air Farce and 22 Minutes religiously as a kid.  Also Red Green.  Anyway, 22 Minutes was a bit over my head, but I loooved Air Farce.  There's still a special place in my heart for them.

At time of writing (I'm sure this will get pushed further back) I'm on page six and no one has mentioned Portal yet.

Someone else who's read Tam Lin?! Is this possible!?

I really enjoyed the first two of the Arthur trilogy (it's a trilogy, right?) but I still need to get around to the last one.

That's reassuring.  I decided I'd give Old Man's War or whatever it's called a shot before I write him off completely.

I'm not sure if it's just the internet that's made us such huge dicks about how cold it is here or if we've always been this way, but I try to keep my "it's -45 today, look what a tough Canadian I am" comments to a minimum.
