I read Locke & Key Vol I on a plane last month and like it a lot. One panel actually made me jump, which has never happened to me before.

Oh wow, that sounds interesting! Little Women was one of my formative books TO THE MAX. I've been heavy into novels lately, but I keep hearing/reading about all kinds of amazing non-fiction and wanting to read all of it, so that might be on the horizon for March.
I reread The Gunslinger last month and am rereading The Drawing of the Three now. I got about halfway through the series on my original read, and I decided that this year I'll read the whole thing at a rate of one per month.
I liked The Magicians way better than The Magician King, but I still liked The Magician King a lot. It just seems like a really unnecessary sequel.
Re: Chronicle
My sister owns Dune on blu-ray for some reason, which is strange because she isn't a David Lynch fan or a science fiction fan, or really in the target audience at all.
I decided to start re-reading/finish reading the Dark Tower series, with the revised (sigh) edition of The Gunslinger.
I found the end of A Farewell to Arms really moving and beautiful, but Catherine is such a spineless nonentity that I can't really consider the book all that romantic.
That's a good point that I didn't even think of. I like to think that the dynamics of the relationship would be sufficiently different to make it not just more of the same.
Ahaha, maybe it would've been a bit too dark. I just think it would've been an interesting relationship to see.
Oh, I won't deny that the episode has significant issues, but it was just so cartoonish and absurd that I kind of .. overlook all of them.
Just idle speculation, obviously, but I wonder whether the Samantha storyline might've been served better by, instead of all the misdirection, having her actually be found at the end of season 3 or 4, as just a wreck of a human being (or not, really, just finding the real Samantha in any condition).
Am I seriously the only person who thought "First Person Shooter" was awesome and hilarious? Because I did.
Aw, I kind of love William. I think interesting things could come from teenage William, feelings of abandonment, superpowers, and aliens.
Four hours later, I don't know what I meant by "right down the train."
I watched this movie with my sister. Instead of dance fighting there is sing fighting in the movie.
The X-Files!
I saw the movie four-ish years ago and then read the book last month. Now I need to watch the movie again because I feel like my memories of the ending can't possibly be right.
The book has exploitation elements, but not to the degree that the movie does. Still fun, though.
The novel is actually the original source material for the movie and manga.
Commiseration from this direction as well. It really is for the best even if they/you don't feel like it right now.
