Zero. I cannot stress enough how good Zero is.
Zero. I cannot stress enough how good Zero is.
If you had to compare the tone to the tone of any one Batbook, which would you choose?
Let me know about Elektra! I'm on the fence about it. The art doesn't really seem practical for storytelling.
WHAT DID EVERYONE READ?
Doop is a miniseries, or else I definitely would include that. A miniseries will run for the length the story needs to be regardless of sales. An ongoing like any of the others you mentioned? They'll likely be canceled before they get to end properly.
Yeah, I had the same feeling about that volume of X-Factor that I have about All-New X-Factor: well-told, interesting stories focusing on characters I fundamentally don't care about. It made a nice read-through on Marvel Unlimited, though, as I'm sure ANXF will as well.
Looking at Moon Knight on my phone, Jordie Bellaire IS mentioned, but Declan Shalvey inks his own stuff. So there are still only 3 names.
I think it's the latter. I believe Marvel's doing that now?
Was the color REALLY the problem in that one, or was everything else?
I was hoping for 30% of them. Can we get it down to 30%?
Inkers do typically get cover credit. I'd guess that's because of the number of high profile artists like Klaus Janson that occasionally take inking work.
Which is more than I can say for Marvel. Do they REALLY think an Iron Fist book is going to survive at $4?
They DID draw the line at $2.99.
As for Bradshaw, his style—just like Adams and McGuinness—is so gorgeously simple that I think it really provides a venue for colorists to express themselves. Makes me want to check his upcoming GotG run.
While we're talking about colorists, can we talk about Dean White's work on Uncanny X-Force? That shit was PHENOMENAL. The run had something like 5 or 6 pencilers but the book was still visually cohesive because of his work. Man loved his magentas and purples and teals.
I just watched the first season and have yet to see the second. Hopefully a series order triggers a sale?
They also gave work to Greg Land before people realized how tracey and porny his art is.
Those are probably the only two New 52 books I've enjoyed, though I crapped out around issue 8 with Flash. Waiting for a sale to get caught up. Perhaps when Flash appears on Arrow?
Fuck, dude, I keep forgetting some of us are spoiler-averse. I'm sorry. What do I owe you now as a means of making amends?
I know the digital trade is available, so I'd guess the trade trade is.
