@avclub-5125ad2b58405bb877649bbea104f866:disqus Yeah, that was one of the many reasons I jumped off Hickman's New Avengers. I originally loved it as a place where I could read some of my favorites (Iron Man, Beast, Doctor Strange, Black Panther) who weren't getting much attention in other titles. It quickly became

I guess I was fucking up when I read it?

I was disappointed by the Doop/Iron Fist story, especially since they're two of my favorite Marvel characters. It was just pretty… uneventful? I would have preferred Allred art on that too. The more Allred Doop art we have, the better.

I picked up Lazarus today and have yet to read it. I'm excited to check it out. I've always had complete and utter faith in Rucka, and I assume this book will never disappoint.

Yessir. I love me The Outhouse and was shocked to find out that people whose opinions about comics I trust actually liked The Inhumans!

Yeah, I thought Tony Akins' fill-in art was weak. And then when dude-with-a-candle-on-his-head showed up without any explanation as to who he was, I just kind of gave up on it.

WHY HAVEN'T I READ SPACESHARKTHORSMASH YET!?!!?!???

Yeah, that's my main problem: I don't give a fuck about the Inhumans, so I'm pissed about losing FF for that.

I also bought myself Marvel Unlimited as a birthday present, and it was a great fucking choice. Now that they have a (semi-functioning) Android app, I am going to read the hell out of some classic Marvel runs and drop some titles (Savage Wolverine, FF, Secret Avengers) that I like but can wait 6 months to read. The

WHAT DID EVERYONE READ THIS WEEK?

I preferred Thor to Wonder Woman, and I really can't stand Thor as a character. Wonder Woman started out pretty strong, but lost me with inconsistent art and character introductions in issues 6 and 7. I know people fucking love that book, though, so perhaps giving it a try would be best?

"Yes, my love."

I personally don't get all the Douglas hate around these site. He's one of my favorite parts of the show, though he might be a BIT overused. Nothing gets me cracking up like the line, "SING, YOU CANARY!" from this episode.

Go to the Outhouse (http://theouthousers.com). A lot of people are a tad conservative politically, but everyone there has really good taste. And their writers aren't afraid to call out DC for the quite-frankly dumb shit they've been doing for the past year.

Isn't Greg Land off Iron Man soon, though? I'm a huge Iron Man fan and felt that Marvel putting Gillen and Land on there was them sending a personal message to me that said, "We don't want you reading this book, Jon."

Liked the first two issues, but I'm waiting for a Comixology 99 cent sale to get caught up. Between this and Quantum and Woody, though, it seems like Valiant has their humor books down to a science. A very, very funny science.

@avclub-e95a45d0b1f5afdf0ab9cde82b4b1d06:disqus That's definitely where I thought it was going.

Has Thunderbolts gotten better now that Way is gone? Because I must admit that everyone on that team besides Red Hulk is a favorite of mine.

My roommate just started reading Waid's Daredevil. He's gotten to the point where Matt is pursued by an international crime cabal and everyone doubts his sanity. It took me a while to convince him that Waid's run is regarded as
"lighthearted Daredevil" after the events of the previous 10 years.
