Yeah, SWC was…OK. Had some funny shit, but it wasn't on the level of the TV show. But then again, what possibly could be? That show was pure, uncut genius.

"You're about as useful as a poopie-flavored lollipop."

"They're both verbs…."

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! AAAACK!

When he was on Conan one time, he was telling some story about Larry Flynt that was overall fucking hilarious, but had two jokes that were just so perfectly Norm:

Leading to Norm MacDonald doing a series of jokes on Weekend Update about "Wow, how shocking is it that Courtney Love was able to so convincingly play a crack whore? What, you guys didn't know that she's a crack whore?"

"If y'got a strong back, we can use ya" is a great line to use when discussing immigration policy.

I'm pretty sure Garth Brooks has the biggest disparity in expectation versus performance. Like, who thought Garth Brooks would be even the slightest bit funny? And yet the dude was fantastic.

Well said. If they had dialed back at all on the excess, stupidity, or cheapness, it wouldn't have worked. But somehow, it all came together into something hilariously moronic. I like to think the 30 Rock bit where Tracy plays Star Jones in a sketch and puke-cannons all over everything is a callback to it.

"Did you see the dead body?"
"Yeah—aww, who puked?" [barfs]

HAHAAAAAAAA! Ya…ya enjoyin' the shrimp?

I miss Norm doing Weekend Update. He was incredible at it, and I loved that he didn't give a shit about a joke bombing.

Counterpoint: The puke sketch is goddamn hilarious.

I GOT A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH YOU PEOPLE!

"Has everybody in the scene spoken?
"I haven't. Well…now I have."

GODDAMMIT, THIS IS A DARK FUCKING PERIOD!

It also brought us this hilarious "behind the scenes" footage that showed just how bored Jay-Z was with the whole thing.
