It's a miracle!

SO…HAPPY…IRONING…FOR…STIMPY!

Flying Butt-Pliers!

NO I CAN'T!

I refer to things as "jolly, candylike [blank]" an awful lot. It's such a great descriptor.

The little creatures of nature. They don't know that they're ugly.

I physically cringed when they plucked out the nerves in Ren's teeth.

"That's gotta hurt!"

"Let's light some candles, draw a bath…and start off with FULL-ON INTERCOURSE!"

Well, note that the guy who did the editing also praised Lars' work in the next breath.

Hell yeah on "Harvester of Sorrow."

Man, I would love to hear the isolated drum tracks. I just now did a search and found some rips from "Guitar Hero," but they don't sound quite right (they're in mono, for starters). Are the straight-from-the-studio isolated tracks floating around somewhere?

I'm not gonna go so far as to claim that "Lars is secretly fucking amazing!" or anything like that, but I actually kinda like Lars's drumming, and in particular, I thought he did some really cool shit on the …And Justice for All album.

Kirk is the Ali Shaheed Muhammed of metal.

Yes to all of this. Lightning was such an incredible leap, and then Puppets kinda honed the techniques a bit more. Of the two, I prefer the former, but by the slimmest of margins. You really can't go wrong with either one.

People kinda downplay …And Justice For All because it got Metallica on MTV via the "One" video (which was a great video) and because in retrospect, it seemed like the bridge between the legendarily great first 3 albums and the sellout moves the self-titled album anticipated. But there's some really good stuff on that

Lars absolutely wasn't wrong. He was just the wrong messenger.

I think its story leads people to overrate its content. Not that the content is bad, mind you.
