I am a film snob, so having The Criterion Collection saves me a load of cash. Granted I don't get the hoo-hoo commentaries, but that's fine.

Does anyone watch this via Hulu? Suddenly, 30 Rock is "web only", which is a mite irritating. I understand switching at the beginning of the season, but not during a season.

I read "Helter Skelter" in high school during my obligatory teen gore phase. It scared the hell out of me. The photos of the victims were whited out, which made them more frightening. I have enjoyed some mild scares from books, but nothing like this. I think this hit me so viscerally because it was a true story.

That was my favorite part also. I like that she was voting for Truman (for you nerds like me, Dewey did win Indiana in 1948).

One thing I remember during The Cosby Show was blacks complaining about it. They complained he didn't keep it real enough. This was addressed by sticking a photo of Dr. King somewhere in the corner of the living room. Also, Clair later spoke with a more "urban" diction and accent.

My first boyfriend and I didn't get on well. Basically, we would have went our separate ways, but Mom kicked me out for being gay. He felt guilty, I needed a place to crash. Meow. Meow!

Actually, Nixon was a "ritualistic" cigar smoker, offering them to after dinners. He was the last president to have them offered after dinners in the White House. He did not smoke cigarettes, like Ike or JFK.

D-The One Lettered Man - I think the scene with Debbie and Walken was an expositional scene to show the stress he is under.
I never got the dog.
