Perhaps, but that's what all people who don't read the site more than once or twice say about it. I'd like to suggest that because of their over-the-top nerdiness, they tend to get the actors/directors to open up and give good insights that more "reputable" sites fail to get at.

@ Codename - I get your drift, but could it be that driving a car/work of art, is the only way to truly experience it? Much like playing a videogame is the only way to unlock its nuances?

I don't understand the arguments against videogames being called 'art.'

Oh yeah, I went back and played it after a coupla year; it sucked, though the play mechanics were still decent. Nonetheless, that doesn't changed that fact that in 1997-1998, Goldeneye was the be-all, end-all of gaming, and living in a dorm room, with potential players all around, it was this and Twisted Metal 2 that

Fallout 3 consumed me … all of me. Of course, I was unemployed at the time, but you can bet your bottom dollar that it was largely responsible for this Book of Eli that's coming out. And the game was fucking fantastic … open-ended and massively deep, like my mom's vagina.

I really, really want to love the movie, and I've even written a paper on it (comparing it to 'Do Androids Dream …'). I've watched every version, some several times.

One of my favorite excerpts in all of lit. comes from that book, and it's where he's feeling extra-protective of his sister, wandering around her school and sees "fuck you" etched into the wall. Where he rambles on about how no matter where you go, or what you do, there will always be another "fuck you" waiting

The name "Newswire" brings up images of a speedy newsroom for me, but you're all correct, who really cares about speed?

Don't be uppity …
I don't know if the policy at AVC is to wait for "credible" news sources to post these newswires, but Ain't It Cool News has had this info. since yesterday afternoon.

Joe Montana was good; Joe Montana 3 was great!

What's the deal with not placing "Incesticide" as the follow-up to "Nevermind" instead of "In Utero?" It was far more confounding to someone who'd liked the blockbuster smasharooni that they'd released 15 months earlier.

Re: Guernica

"Eagles are bald, and so am I … if you're from Europe, you can suck my dick."

Seems like someone was having fun with the thesaurus in this paper …

Just signed up …
Seems like a good service with a nice hook (10 cents/song), but it's making my computer run horribly choppy (doesn't take much for a 6-yr. old machine) and the news of International problems (due to licensing) is quite sad …

It's swell.

Yes. Tropic Thunder. Say it like you have a pair.

Yeah, I don't believe that Redbox offers a cash option; maybe what you're thinking of is an off-shoot owned by some retarded company that wants people to steal all of their DVDs.

Redbox is awesome … and in Phoenix
It is expanding rapidly. There were two locations with 10 miles of my house in March. Now there are six, at least. The new release information is sad, because one of the reasons I use the service is because it's a cheap way to watch 'the new thing,' with Blockbuster charging $5

My favorite line …
