Yeah, I remember watching this on HBO at my friends house at the end of multiple sleepovers after getting bored with Mortal Kombat 3.

I think my love of it might just come from the fact that it doesn't fit into anything else they were doing at the time. Any song on Suffer through Generator can basically be interchanged without disrupting the feel of any of the albums. Likewise for everything released during the Atlantic years from Stranger Than…
Agreed. I can understand someone arguing that New America is underrated. Can't agree that it's underrated to the point of edging out Against the Grain.
What songs do you consider duds? It's my favorite, but definitely in a warts and all sort of way. Just curious where you think it misses beyond the Skyscraper solo?
@tdb, Brett does play on New America on Street Kid Named Desire.
I really liked Gray Race a lot for a long time (and I still enjoy it- Cease is one of their best songs, by far) because I always thought Greg was the strongest songwriter in the band. As I've gotten older I've slowly realized that Mr. Brett's stuff tends to hold up better over time.
Bad Religion alienating their fans and returning to form has become their form. And I'm totally okay with that.
5. How Could Hell Be Any Worse (actually the 80-85 Reissue, not just the original full-length, because I really love whole the southern California early 80's hardcore and also hearing how they grew out of it as they moved toward Into The Unknown, and then came back after the break up.)

Shit I can't read
I'm pretty sure The Woodlands, TX inspired The Suburbs.
I was referring to the content and your lack of interest in it, but then I realized immediately that you might have other AV Club interests. And so I acknowledged that. But you seem to have overlooked my apology, perhaps due to your illiteracy.
Scratch that. I only listen to about three ablums a year and I'm keeping up. Pop culture is easy.
I'm guessing most of the content on this website is probably pretty confusing for someone who only watches 5 movies per year.
I always assumed Boston was the official band of Boston.
No one was making fun of Andy Griffith. I can't emphasize that enough.
But isn't it a bit strange to watch Godfather 1&2 and then actually want to be a Corleone?

There is nothing ironic about the movie version of Mortal Kombat.
