Also, as much as I LOVE Kaufman (he might be my favorite screenwriter of all time), he really does need to write director help reign in some of his ideas.  For example, I love Eternal Sunshine, but I kind of wish they had gotten a director willing to leave in the original (much darker) ending of Kaufman's screenplay.

…fourth place?  [Puts on a set of brass knuckles with "SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK" written on them]

Welcome to College!  It's the worst.

If often wonder what it says about me that reading Camus is a very pleasant experience for me.  I feel like it's supposed to be a bit more of a downer, but to me it pretty much makes sense, and I end up feeling really good whenever I finish one of his works.  (I just finished reading The Stranger.  It's great, give it

OH MY GOD I JUST GOT THE "HE IS RISEN" / BAKING PUN YOU GUYS.

Do it!  When I did mine I got to hear ScottoBot tell me I sounded like Elliott Smith and it made him want to kill himself, and Wompler say that it sounded like the last breaths of a dying man.

I like that Criterion presents Modern Times as "Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times", but The Great Dictator as "Charles Chaplin's The Great Dictator."  Making a movie about Hitler really brings out the fancy in people.

Phh, as if the song of the summer wasn't "Full of Fire".

Just finished The Crying of Lot 49, and holy shit is it good.  I can't remember the last time I read a novel in one day (even it is a very short novel).  I'm beyond excited to dig deeper into Pynchon now.

I'd say it's about 50/50.  Plus, Dave and Janine's passion is equal to 3 or 4 likes.

Also, this section of Harmony Korine's Wikipedia page lists his favorite films.  You might enjoy those, considering I've heard you like Spring Breakers.

I love that Spring Breakers is becoming the most divisive issues in the CZ, even more than any Community related topic.

Annie Hall is the best, and also 90-minutes-ish, so it's good for ADHD people (all my favorite movies are in the 90-minute range).

Oh man.  And you haven't seen the [SPOILERS, PROBABLY INVOLVING PIGS I GUESS, OR THE CIRCLE OF LIFE OR SOMETHING].

"There's no menu, or basket of bread on the table, or TV to glance at.  It's just us.  Looking at each other."

I didn't rank EPs, or we'd be here all day.

Maize Kraize Ranks the Work of Modest Mouse!

No, it's just that Remain in Light is so good it's managed to end up in the ten albums of every year.  No one's sure how, it just seems to transcend time.

I just finished…
