I'm halfway glad that there's going to be a break between the seasons.  I'll wait until this starts back up to watch any of Season 2 and it will be almost like the good old days when cliffhangers took months to be resolved.

Rowan makes a great point about Legacies deepening Delenn's character.  When it is revealed that she was responsible for stealing Branmer's body and even more so when she just dominates Neroon we really learn a lot about how strong she really is.  Man I love Mira Furlan!

The motorcycle was some sort of weird product placement as Kawasaki was a
major sponsor of PTEN shows in the early days.  That Larry DiTillio was able to make it a fun B story is very impressive.

"The biggest issue is that the story centers around the journey of a
character, Jinxo, who is some combination of poorly conceived, poorly
acted, poorly directed, or poorly written."

The Harlan Ellison book is meant to be his autobiography and has not been written - at least not in this universe.

I gave it an A- mostly because while the oracular segments don't really work very well everything else does.  We learn a lot about the Centauri culture and history, and the Raider/Kiro story works quite well. Considering this is almost 20 years old the space battle still looks pretty cool, and we learn that Sinclair

Well, the show is just getting going so give it some time.  I don't know what I'll wind up thinking about dialogue overall during this rewatch, but I will say that B5 has some of the most memorable lines in television history.

I also enjoyed both of these episodes.  They sure feel like one of their major points was to differentiate B5 from Star Trek as both feel like a ST sort of episode but the endings are very different from what a ST - at least TOS or TNG - viewer would have expected.

Unless I missed it, I can't believe no one has commented about the awesome, huge, scary ship that causes Sakai's ship to lose power.  Considering how weak most of the 90s era CG effects look  today - and the monorail greenscreen was an excellent example - that ship still holds up pretty darn well.  It really helps

I think this is a decent "if you are getting into the show this scene works but if you're not, it's very lame" scene.  For me, Koenig's eyes make it work fairly well.  Just watching this episode yesterday for the first time in years, I definitely thought how hard it must be for actors to do a scene like this realizing
