For a series so tied to the Cold War (and from the West's POV), most of the plots with the Soviets were actually non-state actors provoking them. As though the series' message wasn't about preventing war between East & West, but that the war shouldn't be on a third party's terms.

I didn't watch Dawson, but I know the character was played by Kerr Smith.

Both are about genocidal industrialists, but Drax gets points for having a plan to repopulate; Stromberg's new world would end a few years later when all his sailors died.

I thought that was Jaws, just dropping by as the boys took a picture.
