Wouldn't surprise me, but since I refuse to read it (didn't even read the walkthroughs they did here two weeks ago or whenever it was) I'll have to take your word for it.

I would characterize it as "something I didn't read." I avoided all of Before Watchmen like the plague. Haven't read one panel of any of it and never will.
@avclub-5bbc67c39fbdf1c74e28b86c595f6e4a:disqus Okay.
Yeah, but when those guys cut loose they just make bad/confusing comics. When Millar's left to his own devices he makes bad/confusing/offensive comics that make the whole subculture look bad.
No, it wasn't (though apparently one issue of it was ghost-written by Grant Morrison, but whatever), but even that has the seeds of his eventual shocking-for-the-sake-of-being-shocking tropes, like when (SPOILERS FOR A THIRTEEN YEAR OLD COMIC) the evil Doctor goes back in time and retroactively molests The Engineer as…
I got SO MAD AT YOU before realizing you were being sarcastic. Whew.
I don't see how you could have read virtually anything Millar's ever written and not agree with that sentiment.
"Please don't start doing this gimmick in a Cookie Monster voice."
EDIT: You know what? Nevermind. No-win statement here originally. Move along.
At least The Rob can be appreciated ironically. Some of his art is so bad it's hilarious. Millar's just bad in a way that makes people uncomfortable.
It's got something for everybody. For girls it's got fun girl bonding and songs and crap, and for guys it's got at least four really hot women in it. Five if you count Elizabeth Banks's extended cameo.
If only there were some way, any way, to conceal his face while he's playing Batman…
Definitely! Congratulations! Keep it up!
Weird, that is exactly my reasoning for being straight!
Ramses: "I wondered what would break first… your spirit…. orrrrr your stone tablets?!"
Since they're both in black jackets, white shirts and black ties, I'm pretending the picture above is the before and after of a really inconsequential Doctor Who regeneration.
Well, yes, but I don't see what that has to do with anyth….
@avclub-740bc18f68a7140f7e82b025080d8c28:disqus , yeah, I know it's not the best indicator, it's just nice to know.
Thanks! And congratulations yourself!
I'm sure they're both really tough in their own ways. Congratulations! And thanks for the suggestion about planning a celebration when I hit 30 minutes at a good pace. (Admittedly my 20 minutes were not exactly a sprint.)
