Congratulations!
Congratulations!
Congratulations yourself!
That reminds me I've been meaning to check my BMI. Turns out I am still obese, but almost merely overweight.
Congratulations! That's… a lot of weight. As Hat says, that's me plus 43 pounds. (Or, me at the beginning of the year, plus eight additional pounds.)
Congratulations! That's great! Buying the new clothes is a pain but it's a nice reminder that you're doing well. Keep it up!
Thanks!
The "I Just Realized There Are No More Sports Night Reviews and Now I'm Sad" Thread
Season 3, Episode 1: "Hic Sumus": While still a slow starter, "Sports Night" is off to a ratings surge as curiosity about the new ownership drew in curious viewers, many of whom stick around. Much to Dan's chagrin, Calvin Trager is a huge soccer fan and begins negotiating to bring MLS games to CSC. Dana discovers that…
Maybe a little late, but Weight Loss/Fitness Thread, anybody?
I'm not ready now but I've got another few weeks, and my nephew was kind of bummed when I didn't go swimming with him this past weekend, so I told him I would on our trip. Comfortable or not, I don't want to let the little guy down.
I don't know what kind of editorial oversight anybody had on Wanted, but that was an early work of his. He's really lost his touch post-Ultimates.
Nobody ever sees me barefoot, so it's never come up, and it's never occurred to me to shave or trim it. But maybe I should.
Well, tune in next week! Same Formal Bat-time, same Formal Bat-channel!
WOLF EYES isn't over until I beat someone to saying it first, dammit! I was there when it came into existence, I have to use it at least ONCE before it's over!
Basically the same as you, and since you brought it up:
Because it gets kind of cold where I live (New York), and while I am also going bald, I like growing a beard in the fall and winter (I basically do football season: beard/baseball season: clean-shaven) and can't see myself going full beard and bald head. At least not yet. The idea may grow on me. No pun intended.
The first issue is great, the second issue is okay, but as it draws to a close is setting up a third issue where it will turn into Just Another Mark Millar Comic, at which point I will buy a few more issues just for the art, then give up.
I use clippers with no attachment to shave my head (which I'm going to stop doing when the fall starts) and various attachments to neaten up my beard in the fall and winter.
Stop reading Nemesis before the third issue. It is not worth your time. Read Red Son, Ultimates 1 & 2, and maybe the first two issues of Jupiter's Legacy,, which my Formal-Bat-sense tells me is about to get TERRIBLE, then stop with Millar.
I have some music on my phone now, but not nearly as much as on my iPod, and since all my music for the last ten years or whatever is in iTunes, I don't know how I could get it all onto my phone even if I wanted to.
