I'm pretty sure this site will cease to exist as soon as Kinja walks in the bar, all smelling like cop. Reddit, you're our only hope.

I feel like there's a great show in here, but what's being put on screen isn't it.

And to be fair, the show is 150% rushing through plot now, with very little dialogue anyway.

I have a question: Who directed that disjointed and oddly shot battle scene at the end of the episode? The frame rate was all janky. It was completely jarring and looked like it was from a different show altogether.

People sometimes say the AV Club isn't what it used to be, but the commentators keep me coming back. What an epic story. I want to read everything about this album now.

The oddsmaker also has no idea how odds work. I won like a gajillion fake silver stags off this noob last year. In my pool, we were all billionaires.

Tyrion has already been a 'gift'. Not going to happen again.

I actually FFWD'd some of the plot line with the wrestler. I'm not sure I can stick with this show.

The Good Place.

Thank you. The third act completely lowers the stakes (in the heist at least - part of me thinks this is The Notebook hidden inside a supposed Oceans-heist flick). I found Hamm and Foxx (double-consonant last names withstanding) to be cheesy (which is fine in this genre), but completely overtook the film for me. This

I went in expecting 'Baby Driver' to not only be great, but make my Best of 2017 list. It's just an OK movie, with a bad third act. How on earth do you create a movie where heists get less exciting. I came out of it thinking, 'Hell or High Water' did it better without awesome car chases.

*A lot

Sure - but I like being left with wanting more instead of slogging through the saggy middle halves (or more) of the House of Cards franchise. I'm a sucker for 10 episodes.

Whether or not the ending of the plot points were your 'World's Best Dad' cup-of-tea or not, I still believe Fargo remains one of the best made television shows. The music direction and cinematography remain second to none.

I absolutely loved Fargo this season. Such dense storytelling - glad I had Reddit to help me out. It remains a polarizing season, but I think the best art tends to lean that way. Enjoy!

List was so long, it barely loaded on my computer.

I never came away from a Handlen or Adams review and thought, "Oh, cool - they caught something I missed." More often it was along the lines of, "How does a professional critic (and presumably an office full of TV nerds) not know how to spell the characters names and/or who the returning characters are?"

That's a fair comment, but neither Handlen or Adams are either intelligent enough, or care enough (I'm assuming it's the latter) to follow the breadcrumbs of a dense and highly curated series like this. For me, I don't care if a reviewer likes something or not; it's about whether they can back up their claims without

This is the best review of the third season I've seen and it follows both of your logic:

It would seem that a lot of astute commentators here are learning what certain moments 'meant', so I'll disagree. I know people watch television while looking at their phones and cooking dinner these days, but that doesn't mean that discussion and debate somehow invalidate art.
