Jurasalem's Lot and One For The Road were both short stories in Night Shift. They both reference Salem's Lot and gave me creepy flashbacks.

I re-watched Salem's Lot last Halloween. The book nailed the vampire fear. The movie was to my re-collection the best King ever put to film. Unfortunately the movie didn't weather well for me, too much 70's washout and over-acting. Didn't the 'Lot come up in another King story as a town inexplicably abandoned ?
