I keep thinking about the first scene where Daniel said he dreamed about seeing the sun in the morning when he was in prison, and there he was in the morning sun with Tawney, saying he should be ecstatic, but he is so far from it. It's brutal.

So who or what is the great destroyer? Fear? Dishonesty? Pride? Anger?
I think it interesting that Jared is about the age that Daniel was when he went into prison. Its a different generation, and he's a different person, but basically Jared represents someone the same age as Daniel was when this whole thing started right in this family.
Love this show. Love that it makes me want to go to the art museum and read books and think.
Just read the very short story 'Bullet in the Brain' because of this episode and happy for it. Rectify is the best show they is.
I loved seeing him on the joyride. He must feel so free
I think he was a realtor who went to high school with Daniel and Amantha used him to find a place to live in Paulie.
I think he gave Amantha the statue of the mechanic that was their dad's.
Maybe he bought a book for Hanna.
I like your reference to Trey washing himself clean and George looked like Jesus on the cross coating down the river arms stretched out.
I think Daniel is innocent and confessed because he felt guilty that he was not able to protect Hannah. Kerwin convinced me because now I feel like I know Daniel a little bit too.
What did happen to Roger? He got the shot (heart condition and all) and th we n disappeared.
there is no way dawn can win. erik may
I read on Alan Sepinwall's review of 'Sunday Best' that the women at Gyp's dinner table are his wife, mother-in-law, and two daughters - he had checked with Terrence Winter. I also would have never guessed that was Gyp's wife and daughters…

While Sir Richard still had a deal with Mary and her family he kept the story of Mary out of the paper - this, I am guessing, included having Mrs. Bates killed.
Now that the deal is off, he will sell papers by printing salacious stories about Mary and by printing disparaging stories about Mr. Bates.
I also think Sir Richard had Mrs. Bates killed. He has papers to sell. And it will cement him as a villain.
Ryan Atwood from the O.C. He was so noble. I was obsessed with Benjamin McKenzie.
What happened to the hospital? Why didn't Isobel continue her work at the hospital and leave the convalescence to Cora? Did the hospital close?
