I hate to bring it up on the internet but part of me thinks "steroids!" with the "baseball hattrick" from the SF Giant… Which is SO WRONG. Verlander is kinda a choke artist, sadly. I love him - and I'm an INDIANS fan (from Detroit) - I really do, but it's not like we didn't see this kind of performance against the

That's not true. So much of the dialogue is so bad that I often find myself laughing.

Someone on Twitter last night asked what would happen if Prince Fielder and Panda each took to their corners and then jumped simultaneously. He hypothesized that it would launch the likes of Scutaro right up in the air, but I warned him that if they tried that it would probably cause another Loma Prieta.

I agree that they're not portrayed as "financially worry free" and have realistic jobs, cars, etc. But that apartment is NOT crappy. Full of "Nick-fixes," but NOT crappy. Especially for LA? Come on now.

I grew up in Michigan, and we had to take driver's ed before we even got our learner's permit. Driver's ed at 14 and 9 months, learner's permit at 15, driver's ed part II somewhere in that year (the "don't drink and drive!" portion), and eligible for a license at 16. (Granted that I took driver's ed 14 years ago -

So it's a weird play on the whole thing but does make sense when you think about it in terms of "drugs people give weird kids to try and make them less weird." (Also

No one has mentioned that Brick's Sugary-Goodness is a metaphor for putting him on Adderall. Sugar is a stimulant, Adderall is a stimulant.
