Dude, it was weird but it happened.

Um, it's a Quaker School. They don't ever come out and say it by name I don't think, but it's obviously Sidwell Friends, which is a Quaker school attended by the political elite's children - including the Obama girls right now.

It's been long stated that they grade the show against itself. I'll save the Homeland discussion for the Homeland board, but suffice it to say that last night's season premiere was close to but not up to the standard that they have proven themselves capable of. It was a solid effort but not blow-you-out-of-the-water

Yeah, I laughed.

Yeah, I laughed.

Haha, that's awesome. I do feel the need to point out that my parents aren't CBS parents, they are Mad Men/Homeland/The Hour/Parks and Rec parents who I am generally proud of (and not just in TV-watching category). But yes, like your brother, they won't be able to sit through this without seeing the inaccuracies.

I got kind of worried when I saw the 2.2 for Last Resort - but that's ok? It's ok for an ABC network drama to premiere at about the same as (my beloved) Parks and Rec?

I loved this as a TV show, but I'm home in Annapolis this weekend and had to wait until my former Navy Officer parents went to bed to watch it, because I was scared that they'd nitpick everything from military protocol to the uniforms to the way they would handle having women on the boat. I'm a good Navy kid and I

Yeah, this particular boat seems to have idealized race and gender relations. Which is probably okay, because this TV show isn't about gender or race relations in the Navy.

Damn, I thought it was Brittany Snow. I'm so happy it's not, I don't like her ever since I in an audience during an interview of hers. Snow is uppptight.

I caught up on season 1 of this show over the past couple of weeks after randomly catching a part of a re-run on ABC, and I am so excited that it's back. It really hits the sweet spot between intense drama and "sit on the couch with some wine in your sweats" soapy fun. I agree with the complaints that the team needs

And Perfect Couples, which was part of the same crop of 6-episode wonders that all had almost the same premise, of which Happy Endings was the only one to emerge. And I LOVE Happy Endings, but Perfect Couples was a funny show upon re-watch.
