Bay Area to Bakersfield should take 5 hours. But when you're dealing with that crew, you know it's more like 12. I loved this ep for everything the review said. Bravo, Parenthood.

I second your agreement!

This is why we invented dual-tuner DVRs.

Tuesdays are always a TV ghetto

I think (I hope) it'll be a fun celebration for a 10-win team that has rebounded SO much from what it was last year under their brand new coach. Of course I'm sitting at work in my Michigan jersey right now, so I may be a little biased - but considering I live in San Francisco and have been able to watch every single

I did that too, watched it from s1e1 all last Thursday and Friday. And I think that binge-watching might have been why I still liked this episode a lot.

At least the Bears actually won that game. And no one almost got paralyzed (Urlacher's injury is just a sprain).

I had a full on marathon yesterday, watched one this morning before going to work, and am at S2E7. It's going to be SO hard to wait week-to-week but I think it'll be necessary to do so.

This simultaneous ously reminded me how elated I am about my championship round fantasy team and how sad I am about the Bears. Sigh. Don't make knee health jokes on a real athlete on a show that will air during the season. You'll make your audience sad again!

"American Masters (PBS, 10 p.m.): PBS is programming a bunch of new stuff this week for some unfathomable reason, including this documentary about Charles and Ray Eames, for all of you who are huge fans. (Go on. We know you love them.)"

Dex totally got laid on his trip to Nebraska this season.

Did anyone else think "my tools! I need my TOOLS!"?

As in the moment where a bad show got good again?

+1 for your username!

Oooh, maybe eventually we can get an episode called "The Constance" - Penny I love ya!

I'm a fantasy football nerd. And I'm in the playoffs. But I'm not really good at fantasy football. Last week I started Kendall Hunter and Kahlil Bell as my running backs. I won, but I had no business winning!

Definitely a camcorder. And definitely the most hilariously creepy thing in that kit.

The boys all went to St. Joe's Prep and Dee went to its sister school, Notre Dame. I love that they used real schools that these kids would have gone to. Just like how Dee and Dennis both went to Penn (so proud to have them as my distinguished fellow alumn).

Is Judy Greer pregnant? She looked like a little bit pregnant, which I thought they were going to turn into an "I'm pregnant, you asshole" joke.

So, here's a fun thing about the Winter Classic: For every Winter Classic, the team that wore the dark sweaters won the Stanley Cup in the next season.
