I did not even know this was happening. Fuck, that's disturbing.

I like Serial, but I've realised I clearly do not love it like some other people. The fact it inspires that level of obsession is great for those that enjoy it, though.

(SPOILERS)

I watched it when my friend had this strange Ryan Reynolds phase and wanted to watch a bunch of his movies over the weekend. It was honestly the only one we watched I'd consider rewatching, alongside the weird film Nines where he was a drug addict and a God and also married to Melissa McCarthy.

Yeah, I had a phase of watching a bunch of films from those directors. Trouble in Paradise, Ball of Fire, Ninotchka, My Man Godfrey, The Lady Eve, all favourites of mine. There's a few I haven't seen because they're not available on streaming and I haven't been able to decide whether they are worth the DVD purchase

Lucha Underground is my jam, despite some flaws (eh, announcing could be better). I can't wait to see Konnan corrupt Prince Puma and Sexy Star kill Chavo. I want to lick Mil Muertes. I'm hooked, guys, I'm hooked.

Wow, I am now happy I decided not to buy this because it was only on hardcover the last time I wanted to check it out. I hate the kind of prose that doesn't even try, like you want the reader to think X is suspicious so your main character just thinks to themselves, "I felt like X was suspicious somehow". Like are you

It's been re-made in other countries as well. I know two Indian examples: Chori Chori (1956) with Raj Kapoor and Nargis, a decent flick with very memorable music all around. Then in the 1990's, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin with Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt. The latter is the worse film out of the two, unless you are very

I think the key trope is two people who don't like each other being forced to share a common goal/journey and along the way they discover they do in fact like each other. There are plenty of other tropes in there, too, but I think that is the thing that made this the blueprint for future romcoms.

This movie was a revelation for me, because I'd been this fervent little romantic comedy fan all my life and as I got older I came to the sad conclusion that most romantic comedies, even the ones I loved, were actually kind of terrible movies. Most of them weren't funny or romantic. Then I caught this on TV on Boxing

Yeah, I definitely think there is a formula that is being subverted along the way, you're right. It comes down to the problems with Rafael's characterization - as discussed elsewhere in this thread - and the fact that while Michael may seem scummy every now and then, when he acts selfishly, he is actually not just a

DDT has brought me so much I hate that I didn't get into it sooner. But both guys are going to be great in NJPW, too. Heel Kenny will say the word motherfucker in every single promo, and Ibushi will have the best match of 2015 with Nakamura.

All I can think about this week is heel Kenny Omega, to be honest. Cause for a ladyboner.

Taka Michinoku gives me such a boner. Ditto Gedo. God, getting a boner just thinking about them.

I definitely hated how quickly Jane brushed past that. I get the sense it was done merely for plot convenience, but talk about awkward - my least favourite part of the episode, for sure.

I want to hear the Booking.com/Expedia reviews for this place. "Friendly, helpful, alarmingly sexy staff .. except for that one creepy guy who got murdered. Would recommend!"

The problem with Rafael right now is that he really is this kind of soap opera ridiculous type of character composite. Rich, handsome, reformed bad boy (so heart of gold but you know, great in bed), minor daddy issues.. like I feel like he's this amalgamation of characteristics as opposed to being an actual character.

It's a pickle for me, because I love romantic fluff like nothing else, but Jane The Virgin is doing such a great job at balancing the over-the-top with the realism, even when it comes to this.

I now live in hope you two will fall in love prior to drawing your pistols, the forbidden romance made so much sweeter by the fact you enjoy different Jane The Virgin ships.

Yeah, I honestly hate the trend of "Team Whatever". I'm always "Team Whoever the Heroine Would Be Happiest With, Or Not With Anyone At All". Even if it's not with a dude. I love romance but it's 2014. Let's be real about this.
