I'm still trying to work out what y'all have against ADWD. Even though AFFC is my least favourite, I'd say all the books so far are of fairly similar quality. I think you have to somehow consider the 4th and 5th books as one epic novel to fully appreciate what Martin was going for, as he kinda says in the

I agree with this article's assessment of AFFC. While I did think that parts of ADWD were screaming for a rewrite, I found it far more engrossing than AFFC, perhaps because it focused more on characters I find interesting. AFFC to me felt more like a guide to Westeros than a novel proper, and all the wheel-spinning

And we'll visit a nudist camp…for animals!

Leave me alone, I'm here to play George Washington!

Or having future Bart and Homer watching a quadruple feature of the first 4 Itchy and Scratchies at the end of the episode.

Well I'll be damned. Let us celebrate our agreement with the adding of chocolate to milk.

That was an awesome line delivery, so full of contempt.

Even if you don't like the movie, that scene is golden. "The American government's run out of credibility, so it's decided to borrow some of mine."

I loved some of the great out of character moments in the movie, like Ned telling one of his boys (forget which one) that he wished he didn't have "the devil's curly hair," and especially Marge screaming for someone to "throw the goddamn bomb!" Homer pulling the fingers wasn't exactly out of character, but I did love

Good old corn, haven't had that in a while!

I love the gag about recycling backgrounds.

Have they ever given him a reason to hate Scratchy? I don't think I've ever seen Scratchy try and catch him like in Tom and Jerry, although the fact that a character in a popular kid's cartoon is horribly psychotic is probably the point of the joke.

Actually, Nabin thinks that he's making a fresh joke each week, probably because someone put drugs in his coco pops or something.

Don't forget Wiggum: "Aw, isn't that cute, a baby driving a car. And look, there's a dog driving a bus!"

I'm kinda with you, it's a great episode, as all Season 4 episodes are, but it's not as quotable as some other episodes I could mention, like Kamp Krusty. It's still perfectly cromulent though, and I still watch it all the way through when it comes on.

Especially since Bart implies his show is an unpredictable Spanish sitcom, only to see him very predictably get a stomach ache after eating heaps of ice cream.

You shot who in the what now?

Wasn't it "Part 7 of our eye-opening look at…the bikini!" Wow, info-tainment!

The way it squashes the other garbage in the can hits it out of the park. Such a good gag.
