I always thought it was "Just more man to love." We must now fight to the death with rusty razors.

Shit, I better leave work early and watch that episode again. I'd hate to waste my time.

Good on him for doing the scene anyway, although I suppose money talks. Thanks for not sticking to your guns!

I'm surprised that Nabin didn't have something to say about that, or at least I would be if he didn't phone these in so lazily.

@avclub-ec26fc2eb2b75aece19c70392dc744c2:disqus : Oh shit yes. I watched it for the first time a few years ago and I could not fathom why it was considered a classic. Maybe if I'd seen it when it first came out I'd think differently, but like you I was bored out of my fucking skull, although I made it to the end, if

As well as loving the music, I also bonded with a lot of other nerdy white kids over our shared love of the Beastie Boys. I can't think of any other groups or artists that have helped me form strong bonds as much as these guys, so I can add that to the debts I owe MCA.

Even though I've never been 12 and Jewish, I hear ya E.Buzz. Growing up in NZ as a white kid, hip hop was Biggie, Tupac and no one else, and while I respect those two now and have come to like Biggie, the thuggish thing never really did it for me and put me off the genre as a whole.

Considering the fact that he appropriated music from black culture and, along with Ad-Rock and Mike D, made it his own, combined with the fact that a lot of us grew up with his music and loved it to the point that it became soundtracks to our lives, I don't think it would be unfair to compare his passing to that of

Ditto, no explanation could stop that from being an abhorrent thing to say. Just because we knew it might be coming, doesn't mean we shouldn't feel shocked or upset, you stupid cunt.

He did it over a decade before Kanye, and way better too. But do the kids realise? Now there was a lyrical genius and a voice of a generation.

Cuz you can't!

To The 5 Boroughs was probably their low point, but I can still listen to it, their instrumental albums were decent, and Hot Sauce Committee was an amazing return to form. It may have had something to do with only releasing an album when they felt like it, but they never really hit a huge low despite being around for

In all seriousness, some of Dr Cox's advice was actually pretty sound. Of course, a lot of it was crazy gibberish as well.

That was a quality film that I really need to revisit. Can't wait for the write-up.

^ This. Any time there's a film that gains a reputation for being amazingly fucked up, if I finally get around to watching it…I guess disappointed isn't really the right word, but it never seems to be all that bad when compared to what I had imagined.

FLAGGED

Well we all know that every gay dude was molested as a child, although that doesn't explain why Catholic priests are so dead-set on trying to increase the homosexual population. Hypocrites.

Harm-ass? I got nothin'.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SECRET

Just wait until they join in, it's magical.
