Yes. That response said in that voice was 100% her saying "no way."

It was an amazing put down. The moment he said that I was fully ready for her put down to mimic his long fart, but goddamn did she blow my expectations out of the water with that line delivery.

(SPOILERS)

This review is spot on. There reveal of certain abuse happens at such a late moment that you don't understand why it was withheld from the normal timeline of the story. It's a very obvious crack in the facade that the community and it's leader are normal, so once they present that particular detail later on it does a

It was aggressively not funny, had some predictable story beats, and sort of just ended. The slow motion slap was wonderful though.

Even the No Friend Left Behind episode? That was the only one I actively never want to see again.

He appeared talking to Patton the actor, not his character. John Mulaney also had a tv show that featured standup. He arguably wandered on set to talk to Patton to ridicule Maria based on his own experiences. His getup could also be read that he's play the part of another gun nut, of the reenactment variety.

and oppositely that a black actor can play so many roles, yet we only get stereotypically "safe" roles.

It could also be a joke about the same black actors appearing in everything because of hollywoods fear of new talent.

Same

I read into it that Maria mistook the character being bisexual as being a consequence of his meth use, while the man himself mistook his terrible actions as a human being as the consequences of being bisexual. In short, everyone was wrong for their perceptions.

That song slays me every single time. And goddamn is the Touch a Child song BRILLIANT.

I don't understand how the season review made no mention of Pussy Noodle. I don't believe that they watched all the episodes made available to them.

Seriously, how did this reviewer not mention Pussy Noodle?

you are one of many. welcome to the club.

I'm surprised this review makes absolutely no mention of the actual format of the finale episode. This is such a big improvement over previous finale structures.

And really, the first episode is either going to grab your or turn you off immediately. It won't be a mystery about what you're getting into.

I can understand what you mean. This is not really close to her Amy Schumer appearances, so I think you're going to be fine with the lady here.

Not sure about this review. It's nearly entirely focused on the concept of a comedy program and character introductions/plotting of the pilot despite four episodes being watched.

Good news for you! Patton Oswalt is not in the show that often. Ana Gasteyer is present much much more often. Hell, I think Mo Collins gets more screen time than he does.
