RIP AVCLUB 2017

It's incredibly good. This trailer is not a great representation of the full show at all. It's a very weird mashup of Arrested Development, 30 Rock, and Strangers with Candy. It's also surprisingly dark most of the time.

She has the rare ability to go big and bring it back down to small levels on the drop of a dime. She has a good physicality to her humor.

I've seen the first episode twice now, and one additional episode with Dean Cain. I cannot wait for the whole thing on Friday. Maria has always been great, but we finally have a project that uses her perfectly.

Hmmm. The CGI on this is weird. It's at once moderately reserved, but also not stylized enough to make the weightlessness of many things feel accurate in-world. Lots of a bizarre physics happening in this trailer.

Yeah…I felt like that was clearly communicated in the show too.

So…do no characters really care that Jon was resurrected? I'm so confused that this is being played as essentially a non-issue aside from a handful of weak mentions last week.

It drives me more crazy than it should.

I've fought with friends about this very thing. They would not admit that the frames were lense-less, despite oh so many scenes where a light reflection along the frames would result in some sort of reflection yet it being missing.

You know what, while watching season 2 of Daredevil I immediately thought that Elodie Yung would be the perfect, absolute perfect Lara. Oh well.

Damn does this look poorly animated. Considering how much praise and notoriety this story has, I can't believe this is the best treatment WB/DC can afford. What a damn shame.

That line was the best of the trailer for me.

you can save a few bucks by buying all the tracks individually.

While there's some cringe, it's not uncomfortable cringe. Lady Dynamite is an out-and-out in your face comedy. It guns for laughs, and it moves at a fast (but not frantic) pace. The guiding hand of Mitchell Hurwitz brings a lot of similarities of Arrested Development to this show.

It's really really good. I just saw a premiere of the pilot and the world is in for a real treat. I'm not sure what to compare it to honestly, because it's so bizarre in terms of structure. But if you think people are gushing over Kimmy Schmidt, I fully expect the reviews and critical response to be downright effusive.

Do not waste any money on that terrible movie.

Not to keep harping, but Cinefamily in LA also has 4 screenings coming up, starting this Saturday. Check it » http://cinefamily.org

Guys! We just screened the first episode of this at Cinefamily last night. It's sooooooooo fucking amazing! I mean, we all knew this was going to be a good show, but it's honestly going to blow you away.

It's honestly shocking how terrible it is. And now that they offer monthly subscriptions, I can't believe they didn't launch a new layout with that.

The judges don't view it as a weakness whereas Chi Chi does. That's not demanding her to pigeonhole herself. They want her to feel comfortable using what are arguably her strongest assets.

I'd also argue that attack ads are often pure nonsense with no basis in reality, which offers up the ability to go totally wild with this challenge.
