All I kept thinking during the pig farm scenes was if pigs would really eat people? I guess that they do, but it's not like they established that those pigs were strictly on the supes diet. I'm pretty sure they'd have to be starved to be nibbling on Hoyt.

The problem wasn't the timing of the cue, it was the song. It did not fit the scene. The tone was all wrong to be overlapped with that end scene. Should have been a slam-cut in this instance.

I was torn too, but "kill this storyline" won out for me. That 9 episode story arc still remains completely unnecessary in the realm of True Blood as a whole. If this even turns into a thing where Arlene has trouble dealing with him killing Patrick, then I guess that's par for the course with this show.

There was also the point where Arlene, ghost woman, and Patrick are all saying the same thing. Something like "Do what is right." It was played up like the smoke monster/ghost woman was influencing his thoughts with visions, possibly making the killing even more horrific.

Once the lyrics started I got angry. Very very angry at that this horrible cover was used, but then I remembered that they did the same thing with a horrible horrible Talking Heads cover last year.

Yeah, he was missing for a year and suddenly reappears and no wolf questions it? At all?

You are not alone with the Dogget affection.

You set up two puns by using "stake" and "shifts in characters" in a True Blood comment and completely left them on the table. Shame on you!

Bill was a prisoner trying to eventually escape in season 3, so his pretending made sense. In this season…he was a prisoner, so his pretending makes sense?

Lilith blood must really mess you up if you can't even protect your kids when they are in danger. Sure sounds like a drunk father figure to me.
