"shock effect" indeed. yawn.

I think it's bad news if I can say that Xena is better camp than this show.

Which is a double diss since she was a bartender pre-vamper. Even Alcide said her drinks were gross.

And if the drunk vampire wrecking crew is supposed to be dangerous and instill dread for this season, how about we don't resort to having a karaoke massacre happening almost entirely off screen. This isn't a low budget show that needs to hide expensive moments between commercial breaks. What in the hell was that move?

What about the season where we had to deal with his "dark past" and horrible and isolating attitude? I believe that was the start of True Blood removing him from intersecting with basically all other plotlines.

The thing about needing him for Merlott's is a joke, since, you know, we're barely ever at the restaurant anymore outside of some random Arlene scene. There is no home base anymore, which truly is the death knell for Sam. Hell, they introduced a million characters just to try and keep him relevant, but they've all

@avclub-bc3895d387673b7e8fdc31475e98fb41:disqus and how are we supposed to care about any of the character relationships if the characters barely interact with one another outside of drunk/fang banging/getting possessed/smoke monster?

Let's not get too carried away about my imaginary unwanted offspring @avclub-12f074d495847731c3dabe98746501b5:disqus . I can't change the channel on my imaginary unwanted offspring. Just have to keep on trucking along despite the pain it brings me.

Hurts so good?

Eh, it's more or less been Sooki's storyline since season one.

It kind of felt like something ripped out of Xena or Hercules, right? But without the camp. :(
