Dan Harmon's breakdown in that particular commentary is weird and uncomfortable and fascinating. Joel and Yvette sound super uncomfortable too. But, on a personal note, the episode is almost definitely one of my top 10 of the series and easily the season 3 episode I've watched the most times. I love those authentic

It also contains the legendary bagel/"bag-el" incident, which is way up there up on the list of the best first two minutes of any Community episode.

I also really like Environmental Science… the "Somewhere Out There" sequence at the end may be the moment where I felt I'd officially fallen in love with the show.

If we're talking first half of season 1, Comparative Religion must be mentioned… the gang's brawl with Anthony Michael Hall's gang is classic.

Conspiracy Theories is probably one of my top ten as well. I feel like it might be slightly underrated in the Community fandom. Professor Professorson, Annie blowing off talking language, the repeat shots of the "exploding" toy car, the chase through the blanket fort (with creepy "hey guys" Britta), the final

I attack them using my… additional notes.

My pre-season 5-debut marathon of the whole series to that point definitely confirmed for me that Advanced Dungeons and Dragons is my favorite episode. It also might tie with Arrested Development's Good Grief as my favorite live-action sitcom episode ever.

Opinion I may be the only one in the world who has: Curriculum Unavailable might actually be my preferred fake clip show. Which isn't to say I don't adore Paradigms, but the Greendale Asylum sequence and especially the exchange of "Greendale is purgatory… AND I AM THE DEVIL" "I KNEW IT" *slap* "Stop letting him make

I do not think she is female Live Another Day-era Jack, or even Jack from season 2 on, but I do think her tazing of her escort marks her as a pretty good season 1 Jack analogue.

I'd say I pretty much agree with the review's grades of B+ for the first episode and B for the second. I might even lean in the A- direction the first. I kind of loved the way it built up this weird internal tension with the simple question of "When is Jack finally going to have his first line?"

I love Skyfall. It's just so beautiful to look at. I still boo to this day over it not winning the cinematography Oscar.

Oh, season 7 is by FAR my favorite of the last three seasons. Grounding the season in the Jack/Tony relationship gave things some emotional weight that I thought really paid off in the finale. It had some great set pieces, like the White House hostage scenario. The introduction of Renee Walker was a bonus too.

I read an interview with Howard Gordon where he acknowledged how much everyone hated the Dana mole business in season 8. Hopefully this means no mole.

That confirmed kill list was some good continuity porn for the 24 nerd.

Well, Jack does have two grandchildren now. How time BEEP, BEEP. BEEP, BEEPs.

We basically got an "OH SHIT IT'S JACK BAUER OH GOD NO" response from Logan when Bauer attacks his limo at the end of season 8. It is, not coincidentally, maybe the best scene of season 8.

Ah, with Wayne Palmer the Jimmy Carter in between.

I noticed that too. Weird! I guess I understand Yvonne Strahovski being ahead if Kate Morgan is going to be second protagonist, but Tate Donovan? No way!

Oh, good call. I missed "Don't fight it," though I do like that the writers, no doubt cheekily and deliberately, had Jack let out a "DAMN IT" at the end of episode 2.

It was basically the spiritual sequel to the Marie Warner reveal way back in season 2, only thankfully gotten through in two episodes instead of twelve.
