I would love to hear the first thing she said after they stopped rolling.

Not nearly enough hot girls eating candy.
Dammit, Jar Jar Binks.
I see what you're saying. I also thought the first episode was relentlessly unfunny, and the second one not much better. The third one was an improvement (mostly because of Tobias and Ed Helms) and the fourth one I found myself actually enjoying and laughing at. It was hard to get past those two first episodes though.
When you have to watch 6 episodes of a comedy show because it's "laying the groundwork," I believe something might be wrong. I finally laughed in Episode 4. I didn't know to be upset that it took so long, or just happy that it was finally getting funny.
I will always be thankful for Alien 3 for finally killing off Newt, albeit not nearly as violently as I would have liked.
Funny, that's just about when I realized I would like that movie. In my opinion, Strictly Ballroom, Moulin Rouge and Romeo + Juliet are all good-to-great movies. Australia was gorgeous but way too long, and I find Nicole Kidman insufferable (especially when she's playing someone insufferable). I am afraid of The Great…
@avclub-8c1bbcea199457b63dc39f7a024591f1:disqus Take away "the religion thing" from the movie and you might as well write another script. Signs isn't so much a movie about aliens as it is a movie about faith: what it is, why we have it, why we lose it, and what happens when it goes away. The movie makes the assertion…
She looks gaunt to me.
…aaaaaaand Seth MacFarlane is singing.
@avclub-6188d67c7355d4166b6d12db43485400:disqus Is that a quote from somewhere? Or are you just spouting off quotable material like it's no big deal?
Nobody's trying to infringe on your right to enjoy awful movies.

You're not missing anything. This was a pretty strong contender for worst movie of the year in my opinion. I'm a little confused about the "some good, some bad" consensus that critics have arrived at: I agree with them, except for the part about any of it being good. The sequences by Ti West and Radio Silence are…

This is just my opinion of course, but I'd give this a range of "not great to awful." I'm not trying to be overly negative but Blair Witch Project did found footage better than this, and that was over 13 years ago.

The "wraparound" one and McQuaid's "Tuesday the 17th" were desperately competing for worst of the bunch, but I think McQuaid won that contest.

People think you're talking about the musical group?
