I actually enjoyed Jason Goes To Hell. It was funny and gory and didn't take itself too seriously. And I was quite high, which helped I think.

Only if you are a big Saramago fan. It took me at least 75 pages to get into the book; it is at times dense and slow going (and ultimately very cynical).
