My first DeLillo book was Libra, and I thought it was fantastic.  My second, and so far last DeLillo book, was Underworld. After the Prologue (which I had read before), I got about 20 pages in before giving up.

It still makes me wonder what the message is.  Shouldn't "good" comedy break through these barriers and speak to all kinds of people?  Are we really living in a bifurcated reality where everyone in the suburban hells is already living in Idiocracy?
